After all of the support people have given him, he's spitting out his pacifier because, and correct me if I'm wrong, people on the internet reacted harshly to something he wrote on a divisive issue. What exactly did you expect would happen? Did you really think the rules of the internet, and to some extent the world at large, weren't applicable to you or your work? This is a slap in the face to all of those people who I saw do their best to make you feel appreciated, which completely contradicts your purported altruistic motives for working so hard. I'm not entirely sure of your motives for posting this either. You're either fishing for some comforting coos from your fans to make yourself feel better, or you're being vindictive and trying to tag back the people who panned you before leaving. Either way, what you're doing is incredibly petty. I do hope this is the last I hear about you.

I'm not questioning how challenging translating is, and I'm not trying to rag on Milkis's performance at all: But he did have an issue of stage fright that really took away from his ability to translate as well as he could. So I believe he would be the best if he could get over the stage fright he seems to have, this would in my eyes truly make him the best translator we have. But I guess this isn't even relevant anymore. The chick from IPL was pretty good though, MLG should snag her.

Its pretty clear that not being able to deal with being in the public eye (or rather having to deal with the hater's from behind the monitor) is more or less what this post was about. Yeah its overly dramatic, but the guy invested a lot of time and energy in the community so I'm personally inclined to give him a break. That and I always find it amusing when someone tells someone to grow a thicker skin on the internet.

I know its hard, but just try to ignore them, and know that the vast majority of people in the community respect and love what you do for SC2. The top reply on reddit is by djwheat. Is he one of the "the same shitty people" you're talking about? Because his criticism was right on the spot and, unlike the original troll post, well articulated and inoffensive.

There are plenty of people who agree with his opinion. The people that agree with him are wrong too. The difference being, those people have the good sense not to post their myopic opinions on _reddit_.

I mean look at incontrol, he gets shit upon all the time for his opinion/other things, but he fucking loves what he does and goes through it and ends up with much more people loving him than hating him. You literally never got any negative comments, and now you just want to stop? I loved what you did, but I think it may be okay to stop, if you really value the things you did so poorly

Tyler's first post in the thread is probably the most insightful thing you'll get out of this, I hope that it changes his perspective a bit if he doesn't do it on his own by just sitting down and thinking. Sincerely sorry to see Milkis leaving after all he's done for the community. And if that's the case, and he isn't back in like a week or something, and you're really gone for good, bye, Milkis, it was nice having you.
