Is there a good summary of when IT took back the area? (Or some other huge action?) IT took it back when Goonswarm forgot to pay a bill. Yes, the irony. (I may be wrong.) Goons would have lost Delve with or without forgetting to pay the bill, but the non-payment certainly sped things up.

We finally made our CEO from a pubbie that wasn't from SA. In all reality Goons would of held if that didn't happen since there usually a additional couple hundred goons who are on vacation status that would of came back if the call happen. Still, it was a sad day when I got the text that kartoon was a pubbie and rage on us.

Ive never played EVE, but that certainly made me want too O_O

When I opened this thread, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I've heard the stories, dabbled in the game itself, and that alone was enough to get me in here. I just finished reading the OP in one sitting, and all I can say is: Holy. Fuck.

Started playing EvE about 10 months ago, avid SC2 player, WoW, CoD, Bf3, LOL player etc etc
EvE is by far the greatest game ever created
o/
edit: The Team Liquid Corp is kick ass btw... elite pvpers taking on incredible odds, WRECKING SHIT.

I read the whole thing, and I LIKED it.
Might just convince me to try EVE.

And it'll even update for you. It is amazing magic.
Edit: Steep learning curve nothing. Just actually spend some time reading around since there's so much information on EVE these days, its all been figured out. Always thought the steep learning curve meme was more of a feel good thing for the bad vets.

also for reference, to find the hatchery's current home base on today's map ( http://go-dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/verite/20111023.png ) 1) Find the red space labeled "Get Off My Lawn" 2) Find the yellow space adjacent and below that labeled "Goonswarm Federation" 3) look for a small white dot above the 's' in Goonswarm

IE whenever you get out of your station trading environment and try to pvp with us?

However we spend most of our time pvping in the Get Off My Lawn, Goonswarm and Northern Coalition space.
Why don't I see Modrus Angels anywhere on there? I'd swear they held sov.
