Looks like the updater doesn't reach the server... Did you modify the proxy settings? Can you try it again later (like tomorrow)? Also if you download a new version, you can just copy the User content folder from the old version to keep all your settings.

I tried to clear the replay cache; still not working. http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/9164/sc2gears.png Did I miss something ? Probably havent added your name to the "favored player" list. Thats what comes up on the little tool tip about the colour feature.. not that i can even find such a list referenced in any of the menus ^^

You have to add your name to the favored player list which will let Sc2gears know what wins and losses to color. To add your name to the favored player list: simply right click on your name and choose "Add to the favored player list". Or you can manually edit the favored player list here: Analyzer tab of the Misc settings dialog.

Go to the Mouse print tab of the Misc settings dialog, and there you can change both the background and the mouse print color. EDIT: I misread, you're not talking about the Mouse print but the Mouse practice game. What colors would the color blind people prefer? Anything other than red and green or red and purple (as far as I know, those are the two major types of colorblindness, but there might be more)

Specifically, can I compare all of the games that me and my buddy play and see our win rates on all of the 2v2 maps?

Go to the Mouse print tab of the Misc settings dialog.

Perform a search, filter by players (you and your buddy) and format (2v2), then perform a multi-rep analysis on the result. The maps tab (and everything else) will show the statistics of you 2 playing.

Before the eapm thing, i just set the thing to 200 apm, and set it to auto alert. But now i don't have a clue of what to put it. If i watch replays, my eapm is like 80-100 now. I don't know what to make the value so i have to move faster within reason( there is no way i can do 200 blizzard eapm all the time, and ive never seen a pro replay do it either). I also don't know how to improve my eapm, and whats considered effective and ineffective. With apm i was literally just spamming, eventually i found uses for that spam and movement like controlling medivacs and constantly checking on my army. So me eapm was probably lower, but it was still slowly helping me speed up my play. Now I don't know if this tool can help me : (
