Sc2gears 14.3.3 has been released which adds support for 2.1 replays and brings Sc2gears up-to-date.
Details are in the first post.
NOTES:
With this release Sc2gears is being kept up-to-date, but no new features have been added for quite some time now: Scelight™ is the one being in the focus of development.
Although Scelight might lack some features that Sc2gears has or provides (yet), but the ones that are implemented are far superior to those of Sc2gears'. Scelight already has numerous features that Sc2gears never had.
It is recommended for everyone to get to know Scelight and get ready to completely switch over to Scelight one day. The sooner you make the switch the better.

Hi, got a quick question
Is it possible to find replays in sc2gears via battlenet URL (since many barcodes have the same name) and if yes how do i do it?

Start a new search, go to the Search Filters tab, and fill in the Full Player Name box. The full player name isn't exactly the same as the URL, but all the necessary parts are in the URL. For instance, the full player name for http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/713972/2/IIlIllllllll/ is IIlIllllllll/EU/2/713972. You can also get the full player name by opening a replay in SC2Gears, right clicking the player's name at the top, and clicking Copy Full Name.

Exactly.
One thing to note: this search in Sc2gears will only find the replays of the player if he/she did not change his/her name.
In Scelight searching replays by player toon will find all replays even if the player changed his/her name.

The Sc2gears Database is shutting down
The Sc2gears Database is shutting down. As of now, no new accounts can be created.
On July 28th, 2015 starting at 12pm Pacific Time, the Sc2gears Database will be temporarily shut down for 24 hours.
On August 4th, 2015 the Sc2gears Database will be permanently shut down at 12:00pm Pacific time.
The reason for shutting down the Sc2gears Database is because it is built using a service of the Google App Engine Platform that will be shut down at the mentioned times.
There will be no more Sc2gears releases. Currently Sc2gears supports only WoL and HotS, and it doesn't support LotV. And this will remain this way.
Most likely when LotV is released, Sc2gears will stop functioning for all replays (including WoL, HotS and LotV) due to replay format changes.

Scelight is not affected by the Sc2gears Database shutdown. The Scelight Operator does not use the service that is being removed from the App Engine platform.

do you have access to lotv already? if you preorder it, you will be able to play beta immediately.
im sad sc2gears will not be able to support lotv replays, it was more detailed than scelight (apm chart over time for example is one thing i still miss in scelight)

Yes, I preordered to get beta access, so it is sorted out now.
I will work on a Scelight update sometime in the near future, but next week I'm gonna be on a holiday, so no ETA yet.

Mostly just LotV adaptation, but since it's a new expansion, it's gonna be quite significant. I also plan to remove some of the restrictions bound to registration, but I can't tell specifics.

Btw, APM chart over time is present in Scelight, just in a different form.
Do a Multi-replay analysis, open your player and go to the Timelapse tab. The Avg APM column is basically an APM chart over time, more specifically a vertical bar chart, the time changes vertically (time axis is the rows). The granularity are the sub-tabs: Session, Year, Month, Week, Day, Play.
Similarly the Avg SPM column is a vertical SPM over time bar chart etc., all bar columns are basically vertical bar charts over time.

Is there any chance that the MMR Tracker of SC2 gears will be added to SCElight? I'm pretty sure that there was no plan to release it, but I'm wondering if may be done know without any SC2Gears.

BREAKING NEWS: OCTOBER 7, 2015 - Patch 3.0 - The END of Sc2gears.
StarCraft II's Patch 3.0 rendered Sc2gears' parsing engine incapable of doing its work. In short: Sc2gears can no longer parse replays since Patch 3.0.
No further updates will be released for Sc2gears, only Scelight will be maintained. Head over to the Scelight thread and start using it.

Release notes for Scelight 6.0:
Released Scelight 6.0 with Patch 3.0 and LotV support.
Details are in Scelight's first post. (Re)start Scelight and it will install the updates automatically. It will also notify you of the updates if you have it running.
As of StarCraft II Patch 3.0, Sc2gears can no longer parse replays. No further updates will be released for Sc2gears, only Scelight will be maintained.

Sc2gears game it is a really awesome game. I fully enjoyed the game with my friends and family. firstly, I thank you. I have purchase canon printer for getting 3d printing experience.
