Sc2gears can't rename replays in their original folder, only make a copy of them and name that to your liking. Sc2gears can optionally delete the original replay (only does that if auto-saving it is successful).

I cannot manage to get the APM "on top display" to show while I stream. I have it on top of my sc2 screen and its not detecting it on the stream. Can anyone help? I already tried doing all this, http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=395900. Which helped me getting it working, but I just cannot get it to show up on stream! Thanks!

I guess you stream the SC2 window. While the On-top APM display is on top of SC2, it is on top of everything else. It is not part of SC2, it is a completely independent window.
More precisely it is a child dialog of the main Sc2gears window. If you want to stream that too, I think you have to stream the Sc2gears window.

Hey so I tried to stream sc2gears also, but I cant get it to be the APM only. I can do the whole program but obviously thats not what I am trying to do. as a reference, this is where I got the idea, and this is what I am trying to do with the sc2gears apm meter. http://www.twitch.tv/desrowfighting/c/2658328 . I saw desrow doing it on his stream. So I know it is possible!

I hope this issue hasn't been posted about before, forgive me if it has - I searched and searched and couldn't find it.
Issue: Clicking "Start SC2" does nothing.
Using 14.3.1, only mod I have is MMR Stats, everything is updated. Installation folders are correct. All file names are default. Start SC2 Editor works (o.O;; ). In the bottom left, icon above memory usage reads SC2: no game.
Not sure how to fix this, would love to continue using this but I can't start the game through it. Any ideas?
EDIT: Solution found!
If anyone else has this issue, I'm running Win8x64, might have contributed. Ran as administrator, compatibility mode for Win7, problem solved.

In the latest version (14.3.1), the voice for telling you that auto-saving of replays has been turned on/off (and also for APM alert) seems to be spoken by the Google woman regardless of my setting (even after reselecting my choice of Smix and restarting SC2gears).
I know you're working on another project though and it isn't a critical issue, so I suppose I shouldn't expect a fix soon. That said, it sounds like something that would be easy to fix, so maybe that first idea is wrong. :p

I just tested it with Smix voice selected, and the voice telling that replay auto-save is on/off (and also for APM alert) is properly played with Smix's voice.
I assume you meant the Smix Korean voice pack. In that case, it is "normal" because those voice notifications are not included in the Korean pack (they were not recorded by Smix), and if a voice sample is missing from a pack, then the respective voice from the default (Google) voice pack is played.

Why isn't Smix (US) the default for those sounds then?

Because I could record anything anytime in the Google voice pack without having to wait for a 3rd person, so it's a guarantee that the Google voice pack contains all the voice samples while there is no such guarantee in case of other voice packs.

The home page is not down.
If you still can't reach it, try hard-refreshing the page (CTRL+F5). Or try to open it in private browsing mode.

Not sure if you're referring to Scelight or Sc2gears. But neither can at the moment.

Hi, i was wondering if it would be possible to let the user set/edit the ladder season dates either by means of a text file (not too complicated i guess) or through the GUI ? right now the ladder season #17 is referenced but not used (i suppose the ladder season #16 has no end date in SC2Gears right now), meaning you can use a search filter with season #17 but it does not match anything.
This might help avoid recompiling the bytecodes/classes and re-download a new version only for a changed/added string/enum.
Of course users can also simply use their own custom Search filters based on date, so that's not a big issue...

As probably you already know, 2.1 patch has been / is being released which changes the replay format.
Sc2gears cannot yet handle 2.1 replays. I'm working on the update.
Meanwhile I warmly suggest everyone to try out Scelight™, the successor to Sc2gears which can already handle 2.1 replays properly (along with all previous versions, including beta and PTR replays which Sc2gears cannot and will not support).
