SC2 seems easier than BW. I almost never build up more than 1k minerals unless I'm 200/200. In BW it seemed pretty difficult to not get above 1k minerals mid-game. It is pretty easy to always be close to 0 minerals. I think its partly to do with the easier game mechanics. 3sd not 3sd4sd5sd6sd7sd etc.
Anyway, everyone seems pretty good. Everyone takes this game very very seriously. In all honesty, I don't think I could ever compete in today's environment. I don't have it in me to practice 10-15 hrs a day which is what is required to be a top player. In Korea, I practiced 10-15 hours a week (if that).
Going to play again next week and exhaust my bonus points. 8)

Holy shit, are you THE maynard? The one whom the simple act of transferring SCVs is named after?!?! Anyways good luck laddering. I'll watch out for your games if you ever enter a tourney.

Might go to MLG Anaheim next year. Don't expect anything more than a few open bracket wins.

Same question. Anyways, good luck.

You should stream :D. Glad to see you playing still.
10-15 hours a week back in Korea? Wow... lol

Wow I had no idea you still played SC.

Glad to see some of the old-timers still play. I know Elky played against Sarens a while back during beta, but I don't know if Grr and Otter have played SC2 yet.

Maynard as in the guy who the term "maynard xfer" is named for? OMG, holy shit, O.o!!!!! Dude it would be so awesome to see you come back and compete in SC2. I've only heard tales of your awesomeness in the early days of BW.

I learned about you in a college classroom during a class on eSports. It's cool that you're still active. If you're at MLG Anaheim, I'll keep tabs on you in the open bracket :D Good luck!

Grrr.... did play; tried to qualify for GSL Open Season 1 just for kicks, as well as did some promotional stuff for SC2 release in Korea, but he likes his investment banking job much better.
Otter, I have no idea.

The only reason I clicked this blog is because I saw it was by "Maynard". Although I've never seen you play, I certainly know who you are.
