T.T
All I'm feeling right now. I had the suspecting all along that this was going to piss people off, and I guess Huk signing with EG probably will incite a lot of reactions.
Huk has definitely grown to be an amazing player and I really enjoyed having him on TL, cheering him on. Now that EG offered him an amazing contract, I can't say I can truly blame him. I mean, you gotta make these decisions in life. And EG, well, you got yourself a champion.
But why the hell would you put us through all this man? I mean, come on. Not only are you ripping away a dear part of the TL team and community, you chose to have it as a drawn-out torture. Seriously EG. Signing Huk, that's your business choice. Keeping everyone guessing for 2 days then not announcing something "exciting" (positive connotation), but rather just breaking the hearts of many is not exactly my cup of tea. If you announced this in the featured news, I think people will be "Man that's sad... gl Huk". But now, you have people going "How the hell did I stay up 48 hours for this only to be angry and sad." I can tell you one thing, I'm not the happiest camper alive. Best of luck to Huk and I'm not going to rage on EG, but the way they toyed with me and to not even let me have the satisfaction at the end is just cruel.
EG, don't do this again. You can sign Huk, but don't torture everyone like this.
QQ Huk. I really wished you remain on TL. But best of luck! You'll always be Liquid in my heart! <3

I don't care about Huk, I'm a fan more because of his mothership rushes. I'm more excited about IDRA IN KOREA!

A team is a team, as long as the player is happy I don't mind. Idra's return to Korea is much more exciting imo, though it'll be interesting to see if Idra will work his ZvP out with Huk. The countdown and cryptic texts were a bit overkill but I think it was fun.

I don't know why people bought into all the bullshit when Supernova tweeted he was sad that Huk was leaving. I stopped following the thread after seeing that because it was some pretty good confirmation

op obviously does not know how things function in real life

Not to everyone. I still value feelings over money.

ok gl hf retaining that mentality when you make it past high school
this is exactly what separates EG from liquid. EG is a business that makes money and revolves around making sure they make money/get the best sponsors while liquid functions like an online clan where everyone is "family"...and no one makes money, sorry to say

Dude, when Boxer first founded his BW team, the team wasn't being paid. They fought and trained together without giving up or leaving. Sure sounds like a family to me. And to be honest, Liquid offered him a contract. EG obviously had more money. So either way, he would've been paid.

It was not worth the hype, expected some way bigger stuff. Maybe if they get a lot of korean/BW pros to fill up the house, but Huk, Puma, Idra? Meh-tastic announcement.

That is a lot of whining. Do you really not see that your opinion is not the only one in the world?
I enjoyed the hype, and I enjoy the announcement a lot.

I just feel sorry for MC, who will help him practice his English?

Wtf? Do you really not see that I loved seeing Huk play as a member of Liquid? How the hell is it whining? I'm just saying EG shouldn't toy with us when the end result is a beloved member of Liquid leaving the team.

because the environment back then and the environment right now are completely the same right
dont know why everyone is so emotional and butthurt over huk going to EG when all everyone cries about all day is how they want to see eSports as a legitimate sport.
isn't having "life-changing" money deals in contracts a step in the right direction for eSports? or do you all want to sit down and hold hands and hope things go back to foreigner-BW level eSports where theres practically no funding,no big deals and nothing interesting at all

am kinda sad. Ive been following HuK for a long time since before he was on team liquid. It hurts to see him leave TL. However I know its what he wants and it will help him become a better player.
Its like my best friend is moving away for a new job, I am upset but I know that it is in their best interest.

Not sure how they toyed with us. They put a countdown up on a website, and periodically released some MP3s.
lol. Were they supposed to tell you something before the countdown ended? Without a countdown altogether?
EG made this shit exciting, not depressing or heart-wrenching.

Terrible move by EG, they hype everyone up for two days only to say they bought a player of the team with most fans.

EG made this shit exciting, not depressing or heart-wrenching. You mean they made a countdown timer that told you how long you had to wait until your favourite SC2 team's star player leaves the team to chase the bucks, hunkering down with teenage guy who betrayed his mentor, friends and team and premature ejac-GG IdrA?
So exciting yo.
