To be honest, this speaks volumes about the way NASL thinks of its audience. I can't imagine they saved money hiring Sporrer over any respected community member with interview experience, but we've all seen what they got. On July 10 2011 11:09 vindKtiv wrote: Well what are you gonna do about it? Not watch the NASL? LOL Yes, vindKtiv, that's exactly what some of us are doing. Every time I've tried to watch NASL, I've been burned by either poor production or dubious commentary. My free time is scant enough that I don't want to sit down and watch something with the hope that it will improve. Instead, I'll wait until the general word is, like the GSL/Dreamhack/MLG, quite positive and then I'll park myself in my chair and watch some games. And y'know what? That's just excellent.

I am STILL surprised nasl thought it was a good idea to hire lindsay. It makes nasl look like they have no intrinsic value and must buy it with her looks/fame. Haven't watched nasl as of yet, but i will stay the hell away from it until i am sure by peer recommendation that it is a good deal. Well done nasl. I enjoyed her interviews. Sure she has some stuff to work on, but I think that anyone can separate themselves from their work enough and sift through the troll comments well enough to better themselves from the feedback on TL. And please don't be offended OP, but I read this all picturing that "Leave Brittany Alone" youtube video. Ahh, so funny.

If the NASL told her agent that they were gonna give her training that's their fault.... although as an interviewer I would HOPE you take the initiative to learn about the thing(s) you are interviewing people on. I honestly enjoyed the interviews for the laughs. Good times. Made the second day MUCH more enjoyable than the first. If she likes SC2 and honestly wants to stick around and learn more from her comments on facebook then more power to her. She adapted fairly well for the second interview session. The more SC2 fans and people participating in the community in the positive manner the better really.

Being harsh to this girl who is only trying to do her job and approaches us as a community in a very friendly way is rude in my opinion. We should welcome her and give her advice on how to improve. Right now we just look like a bunch of immature angry nerds.

If she indeed has a 4.0 GPA Bachelor of science (like it says on her CV), then she is not stupid. She might be a newbie at starcraft, but haven't we all been. She is already doing better on day 2. NASL is doing this finals lan for the first time, so they might have hired her late in the process to make some extra content in the downtime. At least it seems like she want to learn more about the game, and more women into starcraft that are open about it is a good thing if you ask me.

I chose to believe she'S not lying when she says all these things, that doesn't mean I can be sure. She has no TL account so maybe she'S not part of THIS community, but a person attending SC events, watching Day9 Dailies and playing the game pretty much makes her part of the STarcraft community. I refuse to see any connection between her GPA and anything else.

Unless she is naked, I don't care how hot she is because I'm on my computer and porn is only a url bar away. So pretty much she better know wtf she is talking about and have good questions about the game and such. This isn't some small LAN she is asking questions for, it's the fricken NASL, one of the (if not THE) biggest tournaments in NA so far.
