It's held up really well and is now easily my favourite keyboard. first round of rosewills were the best, the quality from what some have said have gone down a little, like they rushed the 2nd shipment along with the black/blue/browns... But overall ppl are still happy that it has the filco controller. Thats always a plus in a $99 keyboard.

ty guys Most people recommend browns for SC, alot of pros use blacks though (steelseries). I love my blues though, no problems with doubletapping. So you can use any, decide which you will like.
I think filco is Japanese and ducky is Taiwanese no?

Maybe? Im not really sure.

I believe Costar manufactures both Filco and Ducky so both of them would be made in Taiwan. Filco is a Japanese brand though.

Rapoo is a Chinese brand I see quite often in Hong Kong, I guess they are MX copies, don't know about their build qualities though.

If anyone is considering buying a nopoo choc mini, I'd advise you stay away. Mine just shat out, automatically typing stuff without me pressing any keys, 6 months in. If you still want one I'd make sure you get a warranty, mine was bought off ebay, so obviously I have no recourse this late.

Your probably just unlucky. Any decent retailer would have a year warranty. So I don't see the problem.

Well, I'm just warning people. I don't know where you can get them besides ebay, unless you know someone in Hong Kong that will buy if for you.

I've never heard of that problem before with Choc Minis. Maybe you just got a dud.

Any recommendations for someone in the Uk/Eu who would like a budget mechanical keyboard, there don't seem to be many options for us and just wondering what everyone else has got.

Ducky is a Taiwanese brand. They make Das Keyboards as well. They are cheap and reliable just like Rosewills. They sell for even cheaper here in Taiwan.
Ducky keyboards comes in lots of variety -tenkeyless -backlit -mx blue/black/red/brown
NOTE: Ducky is a Taiwanese brand and Filco is produced by Diatec, a japanese company.

I bought my choc mini from Hong Kong (http://www.taobao.com) using an agent; which was recommended on geekhack. You tell them what you want and they do all the ordering for you and then send it to you.
I've had it for 11 months now and its still as sexy as ever and in perfect working order. Just waiting for my custom keycaps to arrive :D

Hey does any one know if mechanical keyboards are usually shown as CES in Las Vegas. ?? Thanks

Just wanted to post my thoughts about the Azio Mech4 keyboard I ordered to try out to compare against my Corsair K60. First off, mx blacks are super stiff. I'm not sure if it's just this keyboard, but the key actuation length felt severely shortened compaired to the K60's. MX blacks are really stiff and I found it fatiguing to use (especially after using reds for a couple weeks prior). The actuation of the various keys was also not consistent; I found my 'A' key was way looser than all the others.
The keyboard as a whole is really gimicky. You can already tell this by looking at the pictures, but in person it really stands out. The modular numpad is an interesting idea, but if you use it in standard configuration then it adds a ton of length to the keyboard due to the massive gap between it and the arrow keys. The decision for the backspace key to be only 1 key wide is really mind boggling. I found it severely detrimental as I am used to hitting a double length backspace key. Also, it has a huge enter key which is also really silly.
The macro key software is a bit of a joke; I installed it and fumbled through its unintuitive interface (driver downloaded from the website) and created a macro. It promptly crashed, rendering a big purpose of this keyboard unuseable; the macro keys. I already didn't quiet know what to use macro keys for anyways, but it ruined the experience for me and I instantly reboxed it and RMAed it.
Perhaps I just liked the lightness of my K60's cherry reds, but overall the Azio Mech4 to me is a poorly made keyboard that is hoping on attracting people that like gimicky gaming products. The K60, while not fully mechanical and using poor stabilizers, is a great price point for cherry reds. If you're looking for mx blacks then I would suggest either the Tt esports meka g1 or the Steelseries 6gv2.

About to buy a Filco tenkeyless from PChome.
Is there a difference between the Majestouch and Ninja besides the placing of letters on the keycaps?
