I'm using my g15 for like 5 years now and it's starting to fall apart. Thanks to christmas I have the money to afford a new one. Everyone is talking about those mechanical keyboards and how nice they feel so I want to try one of those as my next keyboard. I don't really have much knowledge about them and that's why I hope you guys can help me out. After reading some sites alot of people seem to like the filco majestouch. In the OP it's not even mentioned though under best value/quality keyboards. So my question is, is it a good keyboard? Maybe just outdated since it's several years old now? What are your suggestions? Personal experience? I'll write some things about me now that may help you: -I play all sorts of games(currently bf3/skyrim/dota2/anno2070/wow/sc2) -I'm willing to spend up to 140 euro If you guys need any more information just let me know ![]()

I think that this with browns would be the best for cost-efficiency, but Filcos are probably better though it's quite a heavy price gap.

I'm not sure if it's just this keyboard, but the key actuation length felt severely shortened compaired to the K60's. MX blacks are really stiff and I found it fatiguing to use (especially after using reds for a couple weeks prior). The actuation of the various keys was also not consistent; I found my 'A' key was way looser than all the others. The keyboard as a whole is really gimicky. You can already tell this by looking at the pictures, but in person it really stands out. The modular numpad is an interesting idea, but if you use it in standard configuration then it adds a ton of length to the keyboard due to the massive gap between it and the arrow keys. The decision for the backspace key to be only 1 key wide is really mind boggling. I found it severely detrimental as I am used to hitting a double length backspace key. Also, it has a huge enter key which is also really silly. The macro key software is a bit of a joke; I installed it and fumbled through its unintuitive interface (driver downloaded from the website) and created a macro. It promptly crashed, rendering a big purpose of this keyboard unuseable; the macro keys. I already didn't quiet know what to use macro keys for anyways, but it ruined the experience for me and I instantly reboxed it and RMAed it. Perhaps I just liked the lightness of my K60's cherry reds, but overall the Azio Mech4 to me is a poorly made keyboard that is hoping on attracting people that like gimicky gaming products. The K60, while not fully mechanical and using poor stabilizers, is a great price point for cherry reds. If you're looking for mx blacks then I would suggest either the Tt esports meka g1 or the Steelseries 6gv2. Thanks for the review. Whats wrong with the stabilisers on the K60? Its a great board, not outdated at all. But if you are after backlighting, you will need something else. Choose a switch type and then find a board available near you with the features you want.

That costs like 150 euros though. Other alternatives are like... blackwidow ultimate but that's awful and then some others I'm not sure about Ducky shines are 110 euros, and with pchome's shipping deal for europe its only 130 euro total, thats already a better deal than the qpad mk80 and way better than BWU

There are no blue leds under the keys. So you will not be able to see your keys in the dark. Filcos do not come backlit. I can see why you thought that though, it is not very well explained. Im not sure which backlit boards come in german, but have a look around for these: Qpad backlit boards (definitely comes in german, just have to find a store) Corsair K90 (only comes with red switches though, and some keys aren't mechanical) Deck Legend Noppoo Choc Pro (don't know much about this at all)
