Anyone link me to a how to for painting keyboards? Preferably shells.
Might as well buy my own QF TK Brown and paint it.
Also, Msged one of the PR guys (Rajiv) via Youtube and received this reply about the white shell being discontiued: "Nope still on the way..just much later than we wanted. We're getting 100pcs soon. You can check our Facebook or Reddit (/r/coolermaster) to get up-to-date info on when its available."
No idea if he's right, but it wouldn't hurt to wait around.
They have the brown switch with White body INSTOCK. Somebody pinch me!! I really want one, but it would be a bad idea to get it right now. Maybe in a couple months. I want a brown switch board from CM... maybe I can get a brown switch rapid on sale for ~$70? Either way, I'd get this instantly if I needed a mech board.
Dam looks like they are unavailable now ..I tried to order one too, since I recently got a blue TK (from Fry's) but only because I figured it would take too long to wait for browns.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...
/nerdrage
Now we will have to wait 6 months again to get a brown switch Quickfire TK. It took them 6 months to make 100 units? C'mon now CM. Might end up going for a QFR stealth instead.

Dunno if you could possibly grab one from australia, but filco makes great TKL keyboards, and just released an ultra-compact version (noppoo choc-ike) called minila. You could try that out (All of them are available with the four usual cherry mx switches). Filco places itself in the upper quality and price range tho.
That would be perfect, if it had F keys (I love me some keyboard shortcuts). I might try to find one anyway as the combination really-tiny size + browns + USB ports make it basically perfect otherwise.
EDIT: Still probably the best I've seen though. Just gotta decide between that and any of the 100+ tenkeyless with arrows (seriously, who uses the arrow keys these days?).

Not bad. But the layout is strongly inferior to the HHKB, in my opinion. Most keyboard companies are just too scared, to do what PFU Fujitsu did with the HHKB: remove unnecessary keys.

As a programmer, i do. Many, many times a day. I also use them as media controls in combination with alt and ctrl.

You can still use access arrow keys in a HHKB: through the Fn key.
Can anyone help me choose between quickfire rapid MX red and ducky DK2108 Zero MX red? It will be my first mechanical, the good thing about quickfire is that it's tenkeyless, but I don't know if tenkeyless is worth 10€ more :D So yes, would be really grateful if anyone could outline what's good/bad about them or something ^^

Yes, but it's quite the pain in the neck when you're used to just pressing the arrow keys. Especially in combination with ctrl and shift both pressed.
