I would have ditched that keyboard after a week if that problem still persisted. Anyways, I would reckon its either a faulty switch or there may be something inside the keyboard or the switch that is causing the issue.

My brother is using something like this http://www.amazon.com/Storm-QuickFire-Rapid-Mechanical-SGK-4000-GKCL1-US/dp/B0068INSUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1352782637&sr=8-1&keywords=cooler master mechanical keyboard Which he's relatively happy with. Cheaper than a higher quality board, but I guess it does the trick. 14" or so. There are definitely better options out there if you don't mind paying a bit more. The first post in this thread (and the overclock.net link) goes into more detail there. You can get an even smaller keyboard, 12" if you drop down to something like a noppoo choc mini, but if you have 15" of room there's no need.

I'm saying this because my friend had the same problem when he 1st tried my QFR with reds (I didn't have it) and after changer this setting, the problem was gone. Hope this might help you out.

I am gonna compare this to my steelseries 6gv2 mx black, rosewill rk-9000 mx blue. 1. Quality: This is very well made board. Pretty good quality and it beats Steelseries but not as good as Rosewill. Rosewill board feels slightly heavier and just looks strong and solid. So, this board sits in the middle between 6gv2 and Rk-9000. 2. Price: I picked this up from Newegg for $61 including tax and shipping (they had sick deal) so this gets the cake. I did only pay $74 for my Rosewill from amazon so it ain't too bad either. 3. Functions: CM is the winner in this cat. This board has cool functions like partial LED, adjustable FN 6 or N key rollover and Windows lock along with Media keys when FN mode is engaged. My other two boards are just plain old board so CM wins again. 4. Overall: I love Rosewill RK-9000 the best. CM QFP is a good board for sure but Rosewill is just a better keyboard IMO. Since I have smaller hands, Rosewill's layout and its size is much more comfortable for me to use. I'd give CM QFP 9/10. If you are in the market for cheap board with mx brown, I don't think you will be disappointed with this board. CM is going with me to work and my Rosewill will stay at Home ^^

, for 103 AUD. It is a down sized keyboard but not tenkeyless. The arrow keys have been integrated into the numpad which is perfectly fine. It is also one of the lightest mechanical keyboards out there at only 550ish or so grams, less than half of most other mech KBs. So its not a brick like other 1.2kg mech kbs.I haven't received it yet, but I am expecting it to be far superior to razer blackwidow and steelseries in terms of quality. the blackwidow has extremely poor quality keycaps that are wobbly and steel series has poor inking on the keycaps and the steelseries just looks plain bad. The razer also has non standard keyboard layout plus smaller keycaps, so you are prone to making mistakes typing/playing.

A couple months of Starcraft and work related typing(~8+ hours a day during the summer spent on my keyboard) later and the majority of my keys have glossy shine to them that they didn't have when I first got them. The keys also feel as slippery as they look which is starting to drive me insane because it always feels like someone poured oil on my keyboard or there's food on my fingers when there isn't. Outside of just using my keyboard, I can't figure out what would have caused this to happen to my key caps, seeing as how I make quite the effort to not eat near my computer and clean my hands prior to using my computer. Has anyone else experienced this or could tell me how I could have avoided this happening? Take a couple of keys off and wash them with soap, see if that makes them feel better. Compare washed ones with the ones you left on the keyboard. Everyone's hands create some oil, perhaps that is the problem. If that doesn't help then maybe they are just worn, but that shouldn't really have happened. If they have worn, perhaps look for some PBT caps and see if they last longer.

That's just the oils from your skin collecting on the keycaps, there is very very little you can do to prevent it happening save for wearing gloves whilst typing lol.. I'm sure there are ways to clean the keycaps though.

Had no idea there was a difference between abs and ptb till you mentioned it and I read a bunch of stuff on google about it. So yea, I guess I just need to get ptb caps then. Thanks

I have no Idea where to post this. But here might have some help. MY Steelseries 6gv2 slides when i play. After a 20min game my keyboard could be pushed 10-16inches forward and twists as well. Is there any way to keep my keyboard stationary when i play? Knightwulf

Hope this might help you out. yeah i have. i have it on 2nd shortest so i dont have to wait too long for backspace. i've experimented with it before and i can safely say it's a case of double tapping (or registering as double tap) and not a held key press (which is what that setting adjusts). it just feels like 2 e's instantly appear when i just press it once, and i can't really reproduce the effect on purpose either. i think the other guy might have been right in that it's faulty. it only happens with the 'e' key, and does not happen on my other (crappy) ttesports keyboard. another factor is i dont think this was a problem when i first got my 7g... although im not 100% sure since it was like 4 years ago

I believe it is Filco's TKL but I could be wrong. You could always get a QFR and buy yellow PBT's for the same effect essentially. Filco does have amazing build quality from what I hear though. Noppoo Choc Mini Blues should be coming in next week! I can't wait :D Should look beautious with my Zowie Mico.
