Noppoo Choc Mini Blues should be coming in next week! I can't wait :D Should look beautious with my Zowie Mico.
Yeah it's a special edition Filco TKL, i'm pretty sure i once saw it on the US amazon website, it's not affordable by any stretch of the imagination though lol.

It is just a TKL filco with yellow keys isn't it. You could get them in Aus for the regular TKL filco price (like $150) until they went out of stock. I don't think they are that rare.

I'm saying this because my friend had the same problem when he 1st tried my QFR with reds (I didn't have it) and after changer this setting, the problem was gone. Hope this might help you out. yeah i have. i have it on 2nd shortest so i dont have to wait too long for backspace. i've experimented with it before and i can safely say it's a case of double tapping (or registering as double tap) and not a held key press (which is what that setting adjusts). it just feels like 2 e's instantly appear when i just press it once, and i can't really reproduce the effect on purpose either. i think the other guy might have been right in that it's faulty. it only happens with the 'e' key, and does not happen on my other (crappy) ttesports keyboard. another factor is i dont think this was a problem when i first got my 7g... although im not 100% sure since it was like 4 years ago You could research how to swap either the whole switch with the one from the Scroll Lock key, or only the insides of the switch. I've seen forum posts somewhere (probably geekhack.org), with photos of opened switches. There's perhaps a guide. Swapping the whole switch would require working with a soldering iron, I guess, but opening the switch could perhaps be done without going that far.

I have no Idea where to post this. But here might have some help. MY Steelseries 6gv2 slides when i play. After a 20min game my keyboard could be pushed 10-16inches forward and twists as well. Is there any way to keep my keyboard stationary when i play?
Knightwulf
my 6gv2 doesn't move at all. Check the rubber stop on the botto of the board to see if it has worn out. I would go grab 3M double sided mounting tape and cut them into 4 pieces, preferably the same size as those rubber stops on the bottom, and just put it over them.

Anyone having http://www.zalman.com/global/product/Product_Read.php?Idx=598 Zalman ZM-K500 can compare this type of switches (i know they're not cherry MX) to cherry ones? I've heard that these red Kaiths are like cherry mx red but not that light (50g instead of 45g force needed). Its cheap keyboard, and since I can't get brown/red Cherry MX switches in my country im looking for something close to Red. Also, anyone knows when the Steelseries will introduce 6gv2 with red switches? Im waiting for it so badly, love the design of it. But blacks are too hard for me (I had them for about 3 months)

Yay I just got my new green switch keyboard from cooler master. So far it feels nice and my first game of starcraft was a little difficult (the stiffness takes some getting used to) but I'm happy with it.

Anyone in the US can buy them from Amazon so if you are really desperate perhaps find someone in the US to ship one to you. In my keyboard search amazon was the only carrier I found with them. Perhaps ebay?

Hi guys,
I am a sort of writer, and am trying to learn to type Chinese at the moment, which gave me an excuse to get a new keyboard (with Chinese input keys). I'm pretty much a keyboard newbie but am wanting to try my hand on my first mechanical keyboard but am looking for some recommendations and advices from the more experienced. At the moment, I think I want:
-Cherry MX Blues (for tactile feed and clicky - I like clicky sounds when typing) -Full ISO standard keyboards (I miss number pads when using my laptop) -Don't care if it's not wireless, may prefer it but I assume I need a driver anyway for most mechanical keyboards? Otherwise, I would prefer just a USB plug-and-play cause I don't like hassle... -Not sure if I'll need N-key rollover. I don't game that often but I won't be using a PS/2 and I know USB limits it -Not looking for too much jazzy stuffs on the side: I'd seen a solar powered one in a shop that seems quite good because won't have to worry about batteries, but I'm not fussed about stuffs like function keys. Maybe an extra USB port or something to that extent. -I'll probably have to get it online somewhere? -Preferably not too expensive as I won't need something too front-end. -I've heard a friend said Ducky is pretty good, and so is Das, but I hope you guys here can give me a good call on that.
Would be much appreciated if anyone can give me a bit of a hand with this...

I'd personally stay away from Das ever since they switched manufacturers, just to be safe at least. If all you're really doing is typing, then most of the features of a mechanical keyboard are irrelevant to your needs. Indeed if sound is not an issue for you, blue switches are by far a pleasure to type on for casual typists. I've said this in previous posts, but I'm not really going to say with complete confidence of where to buy your keyboards online nor which ones exactly as prices differ from the US and UK. I'll leave that to people who actually know that sort of stuff. The only one I know of personally is.. http://www.keyboardco.com/ Ducky keyboards are good indeed. I'm typing on the Ducky Shine II with blue switches right now. Ducky is a Taiwanese company I think? So it isn't a far stretch to say they may have some keyboards with Chinese letters.

Why are you telling him to stay away from Das? From my knowledge they are some of the best built boards out there.

You're going to have to keep up-to-date with some companies before saying Das is permanently good. They switched to iOne from Costar, which I think is such a terrible move by Das. You're basically paying for a lower-quality version of the Das, unless you can find someone with an older model. A Razer-esque move if you take into consideration their recent sponsorship of ROOT as well.

So do you need chinese characters on the keys?
If not then go pick up a Filco from keyboardco, it will be rather pricy though.
If you do need chinese characters, then importing a Ducky from China would probably be your best bet (not sure where you would do this from). But I don't think it will be possible to get ISO layout, afaik Asia uses ANSI almost exclusively.

That is a Geekhack rumor. Those guys are morons and don't know how to confirm it. Screwdriver and/or FCC check.

Anyway do you know where your gaming mouse is built? Why should you care about China/Taiwan for your keyboard? More on the complexities of OEM/ODM here.
