Really bad OC practice (to just randomly set to an offset - it's not even the same for everybody so it's worse than just copying settings)
You don't know what vcore your chip needs unless you use too little and fail a test or bluescreen. Look up an OC guide, go find the asus z77 one on www.overclock.net actually
Also there's nothing wrong with 1.3vcore on ivy bridge (the daring among us run 1.5) you just need to keep it cool
He's taken a bunch of settings, probably copied from somewhere, and then used that offset (+0.065v) on top of his CPU's VID to stabilize >his cpu< at that clockspeed. CPU quality (the clockspeed you can get at a given voltage) is very variable and VID which is used to determine voltage in offset mode is different on different CPU's, so you're basically rolling a dice by copying him, at worst it doesn't work or at best it's probably extremely suboptimal

Thanks for your detailed reply. I didnt know where to start exactly and the Fixed Vcore OCing I did so far was rather unsuccessful (because most likely too low and/or bad settings). So I was kind of aware I copy specific settings of some dudes CPU. I will read thorugh the links and somehow try to find my sweetspot. My tempeatures so far dont go over 61°C, but I dont heat at the moment...so not the best indicator.
The last time I did OCing was with my Phenom and that one limited me rather fast, or required insane amounts of voltage to gain 200MHz more (which was not worth it).

Just put something like second-highest level of LLC and see what multiplier you can do with 1.25vcore fixed. IBT with a lot of your RAM set is decent for very quick checking and prime nice for long stability testing

You can just plug it in, they're just going to run at 1600MHz.

I would try to add it in empty slots.
You should try just staying with the timings and speed of your old memory sticks. Those will probably just work with the new sticks. Don't forget to run at least a simple memory test like the one that's built into Windows 7 or 8. You'll get to that one if you search for "memory problem" in the Control Panel. It will want to restart your PC to check.
You made a slight mistake by the way. Your CPU has three memory channels. This means it can access up to three memory sticks at the same time. That's why your old kit had three sticks. The new kit is intended for a CPU with two memory channels. That's why it's only two sticks.

uplay is terrible
I've not taken like an hour of messing around with emails and accounts and codes to redeem a game before. I'd be better off just buying the damn thing because time is money anyway

The keys are for Uplay only.

Well i guess buying a GTX series for the holiday bundle is off for me then.
becuase i was planning on getting either 660, 660 ti, or the 760 over AMD becuase the holiday bundle theoretically makes the GTX series cheaper.
BUT, if i am correct, the AMD counterpart is better for each 600 and 700 series for GTX right?

Depends on prices, uses, and how much you value shadowplay vs mantle (or gsync/true audio)

Alright guys i need some help! I just updated to win 8.1 last night. Went to go check it out today and skype can only be open for like 4 seconds before it force closes. The other problems i have noticed so far is that my touchpad speed is much lower than before, as well as side scrolling and up and down scrolling have been disabled.
Please help!
Thanks

Skype crashing on 8.1 is a common problem. Lots of reported workarounds such as disabling webcam, disabling IGP, removing certain updates, etc.

how do i return my system setting back to before i downloaded windows 8.1?

I dont see why you hate on uplay. Even if you buy those games through steam you still get a uplay key to add into uplay. And free games are free games. I was planning on getting both of them eventually. So that being said I have a 650ti which of the cards is it worth upgrading to if I dont want to spend the crazy 300+ on the super bundle cards.I still might wait a few months and catch them on a price drop though.

It just took me and a friend literally like 20 minutes to redeem a key that was worth $5 anyway. Almost cheaper and easier to go earn the money then buy it on Steam (which i don't particularly like but can go from google to downloading game within 20 seconds)
