I have been doing my own experiments to use the English client to conect to the Latinoamerican servers. Of course, your solution seems more reliable and automatic ![]() I found something you might find useful. Remember Variables.txt? There are two variables concerning the localization of the game: localeidassets and localeiddata. Battle.net only checks the last one, so you can set anything you want in localeidassets (the audio) So we would need to only mess with the SC2Data files This would make your life easier.. specifically when Blizzard release new patches. Cheers!

You could do this with only one client, but since EU supports English as well, English (UK), I would just have two installs. One for US and one for EU. There's no risk of breaking the ToS this way, and you won't have to worry about anything breaking when they release a patch. im trying to accomplish this, downloaded the EU client overnight, and now i cant install cuz of conflict in files, is there a solution for this please?

What do you recommend us to do? reset changes, apply patch and then run the relocalization script?

Currently, my script only supports the most recent patch. In the future, I hope to be able to generalize this, but when the next patch is released, just wait, and I'll post a new version as soon as I can. While this should leave your client in a patchable state, you will [i]probably[i] need to reset, patch again (as the first patch will patch the wrong language), then relocalize after a patch.

ALL LANGUAGES AND REGIONS SUPPORTED! (except mainland China, but I'm not sure that's even been released?) If you ever wanted to use your Korean Client to play in the US, or your French Client to play in the US, or even your Portuguese client to play in Korea (really? who would want to do that?), you can! (Using your English client to play in non-English regions, of course, still works.) New menu based script! Only one file to deal with now. Much easier!

It's simply trying to rewrite your Variables.txt file in My Documents\Starcraft II\. I'm guessing you're either not using XP, or you haven't run the game yet. This shouldn't be a problem. If you have a problem running the game, just delete your Variables.txt file, and you'll be good to go.
