SB-E is a waste of money. i7's are a waste of money unless you have a niche use. Watercooling is a waste of money, its an effective form of cooling but its more of an enthusiasts hobby; and all-in-ones are beyond stupid. GTX 700 series comes out next month. Haswell comes out in June, if it's possible for you to wait until then then do so. There is oh so solid questions in the the OP questionaire that gives us an idea what you plan to do with the computer/when you plan to build. Giving us incomplete information will give incomplete answers. Yes you want an i5 if you plan to stream.

Even that wouldn't work ideally, most likely. Or another way I've heard of and won't be linking here. Even if you can force it to happen, without some serious work, I doubt you could avoid nasty stuttering with AFR. Most people will actually tell you stuttering is "terrible" in any SLI rig, but the graphs they base this off of tend to be prone to some interpretation errors, and you have to force specific scenarios to really make it significant; if you're running proper SLI (good cards for the resolution and settings) you'll get enough FPS to keep frametimes short enough that stuttering will be pretty much invisible. If I haven't made this clear enough, while there's some technically possible-ish ways to try and get around the inabity, they involve modifications that can void warranties, and potentially cause some significant problems. To see compiled, compared benchies, anandtech. If you want to GET good benchies, you can use cinebench and 3dmark, although getting relevant info out of those can be tricky without some knowledge of the limitations. thank you for a very clear explanation! I'll probably have to upgrade my graphics card times 2 now T_T

Because if your only going to use the computer for a month then there is no reason to buy one now (unless you can take it with you?).

Also, with that budget you're better off spending more on the monitor, and getting a nice chair. Instead of two 1080p screens you should just get one really nice 2560x1440 screen, or even a 2560x1600 one, imho.

For chairs, the Herman Miller Aeron is often recommended, although I think there are slightly cheaper options out there that are as good. I've also heard good things about the Herman Miller Mirra, and the Ergo Human chair.

alQahira I check the monitor what size would you recommend for gaming mostly SC the chair looks great too. iTzSnypah I'm going with the thermal take battle edition for the case with that build do you think I'll be able to run sc2 at the highest settings no problem and maybe a game like crisis?

and Asrcock Pro3 Z77 mobo and a 3570k, The RAM is apparently 1600mhz, but shows up as 1333mhz in the BIOS. Is there a reason for this? Should I change this to 1600mhz? Thanks!

Aside from Lian Li options, customs, boutiques, and the really garish stuff, there is Silverstone TJ11, Enermax Fulmo GT, and NZXT Phantom 820 (also Switch 810, which has same frame I think). Actually, those may be questionable in their own rights.

The Enermax Fulmo GT looks the best of the ones you named. I'm partial to the darker colors (black, dark grays, etc.) and really dislike the bright colors like white. At a glance it doesn't seem like there's very much room on the "rear" side for the cables to sit.

Graphics Card: wating on the Gforce770 keyboard: DAS Professional brown switches. Case: ThermalTake Level 10 GT Battle Edition question will a 16 gb of memory make a big difference when it comes to performance? can anyone recomend a monitor for photoshoping video editing? I was recomended a monitior with this resolution by: alQahira, with that budget you're better off spending more on the monitor, and getting a nice chair. You also need to be specific when you are seeking purchasing advice as there's more than a dozen Asrock LGA 1155 boards, Corsair Vengeance, and so on. Otherwise, our advice sort of doesn't matter. You're spending $300 on a case, $400 on the GPU, paying premium for Corsair Vengeance, and a 840 Pro. Surely, you can spare $1000 on a good monitor. A monitor is much more significant than a case so If you can't then maybe you need to reconsider your priorities and reallocate your budget properly? As for the monitor, the Dell Ultrasharp U2713HM, U2711, U2410, and ASUS P248Q would be some options to consider.
