Thanx for help! naw man it's cool! it even flashes when the cooldown's finished so you can see it out of the corner of your eye - which is fuckin fantastic if you ask me.

I would say more focus/direction like the older buttons. Lets be honest, making a button called starcraft in a game called starcraft is bit weird, almost as if the interface no longer belongs to the game it was meant for. The buttons for the race selections and the game type options are another example that come in mind. Like giving just the race icon communicates enough information but also putting race artwork makes it look like the buttons just had extra stuff pasted on to them like when you see unnecessary extra graphics in bad powerpoint presentations.

My eyes are really glad for the new FOW/terrain texture, i used to some time have problem with those on certain maps, a long time ago I was forced to veto TP due to the fucking ground color. I didn't have any lag except for a random 1 sec spike in a tvp fight, those happened before from time to time tho so I'm not reading much into it. The new UI is better imo, i don't see any "necessary" change being made tho since i didn't thought there was one to be done before the patch. The arcade is... fine ? i guess, im not one for custom maps :/

2. Arcade is better than what we had before, but I can't find anything on there anymore. Monobattles were easy to find and always had lots of players, now you can't find more than a handful of maps and the only one that's played at all is Fossil Quarry. 3. Hotkeys to go to Quick Match/vs AI/etc are useful and nice. 4. Quick match page looks bad and the ordering from 4v4 > 1v1 > FFA doesn't make any sense. I don't care if team games are more popular, that's not what the game is designed to be.

I also had numerous drops of 1 sec during the game, but it's not always when building something for the first time, 2nd barracks gave me a fps drops as well so i'm not sure what's causing it. E8200 @ 3.2 Ghz 9600 GT 3 GB ram ddr2 800 mhz

I really don't know why they didn't just have a community contest for the UI design. Because this is complete shit and there are probably tens of thousands of people in the US alone that are capable of designing a better product than this.

The thing that most people want is win ratio vs. races in terms of data presentation, and they have taken majors steps away from that idea to the point that I'm surprised they didn't just post a giant thumbs up on the home screen to make you feel better. LOL. You nailed it, sir. Who are these terrified people, who obviously must comprise the majority of the StarCraft fanbase in light of Blizzard's continuing effort to shield us all from obtaining descriptive data regarding past wins/losses? Data that resets every ladder season anyways... v1.5 marks a new era of UI failure

Data that resets every ladder season anyways... v1.5 marks a new era of UI failure I have no idea. All they need to do is have an unranked quick match with proper matchmaking and those people have a way to escape the horror of losing a competitive match. Hell, I'd use it quite a bit too on those off days. But when I'm seriously making an effort on ladder, I want DATA about my progress. Show me graphs of how my race matchups have improved. Show me data on what my best maps are. More more more data.

Data that resets every ladder season anyways... v1.5 marks a new era of UI failure Blizzard has lost its touch with reality, greed and MBAs in suits pushed them over the edge and now they care more about quarter reports, ROI and maximizing income revenue than about quality of the products they've been pushing out. SC2 is slowly stripped of all its e-sports potential and competitiveness (win-loss ratio, tons of stats missing and actual information relevant to the game) just to appeal to casuals (ie. new customers). All the while products like LoL, Dota2 are going exactly the opposite direction, their online experience is years and years ahead of bnet2.0 and I don't see them losing customers over posting detailed win-loss ratios, zillion of stats and allowing people to just drop by to spectate a game (this is how you build a community ppl). D3 is a huge letdown for most people because so much of the game was/is sacrificed on the altar of RMAH and maximizing profits from that source. They worked on it for years and years but the result is absolute crap (ie. they admitted they can't even imitate horrible chat SC2 offers because of how badly it was implemented) because somewhere along the way some Management genius decided going for RMAH would improve their bottom line and if that pulls resources from actually implementing the game then though shit. Why D3 failure is relevant when talking about SC2? Well, we have 2 expansion packs on the way and brilliant minds behind that flop are still around to spread their "ideas" and "brilliance". Expect Arcade to be monetized soon, this in turn will require Starcraft take a less prominent role in the future. Making money while providing a service isn't bad in itself but there are good ways and bad ways to do it. For example we're forced to use third party apps and websites to get information and services we need rather than them being accessible from the game!?! Why can't I "subscribe" (paid/ad supported/free) to Hero's "channel" in-game to watch him play live or get replays? Instead I have to turn to streaming and occasional replay pack here and there... TLDR Blizz has a lot of time and opportunities to screw SC2 for good and their recent track record doesn't get my hopes up.
