Makes sense, sadly Beating MMA 3-1 doesnt really make you a chump. I think Puma would do very well in code S, I doubt that. The win against MMA was the first win against a Code S player for a long while. If we take out MC than it's really hard just to find another (code-s) player that he actually beat. (atm noone comes to my mind, but there might be someone). His winratio against the top of korea is very bad. That's no shame at all, we all know Puma is a very good player, but barely not the level of code s. Recently Puma has been impressing me. Especially at the latest IEM tournanent, I can hardly name alot of terrans playing better then him at the moment. Probably only MKP, who is in great form, Jjakji and MMA I rate higher as terrans .Norrmally MVP aswell but I think he is injured and because of that not producing results. There are at least 15 terrans better than Puma, even though he truly is top 3 at managing engagements, behind Jjakji. Also, this is a heavy blow to Slayers, even though they never truly showed much caring for Taeja, he was probably the 2nd best player, with the most potential on the team, puzzle got nothing on him. Did 15 come out of your random number generator? 15 is not very likely. The ones I named plus maybe 1 I forgot. Mvp, sC, Happy, Jjakji, Keen, GanZi, MKP, Bomber, SuperNoVa, aLive, MMA, GuMiho, Polt, TaeJa, Ryung , TheSTC and maybe Boxer, Clide and ForGG IMO are better then PuMa. More than half that list is really, really, really reaching. Puma has better TvP than almost every single player on that list, and then there's the ones that he's just better than. I don't feel like naming which... Agree with Jinro, that list looks like " oh i'm going to write first 15 korean names which will get to my head first"...
" oh i'm going to write first 15 korean names which will get to my head first". What? I was just responding to Rinnegan5 post naming some Korean terrens that I think are as good if not better then PuMa. Ya some of these terren's are bad against Protoss but PvT lately has been pretty bad to Terren but I can say the same thing about PuMa's TvZ too he has been struggling against Korean zergs.

I imagine there will be a lot of teams jumping at Taeja.
1. He's young, It's a long term investment. 2. The kid is INSANELY talented. 3. Korean Terran.

^ this Taeja is a little monster i can't wait to see which team picks him up

Wow slayers losing some good players
|
honestly feel sorry for these korean teams, particularly slayers for losing these players like this.

Dang everyone in korea is starting to realize the great opportunities of joining a foreign team and watching the successes of the likes of hero, puma, etc.
|
I feel like the foreign teams are hurting the korean cultural community more than anything. The foreign teams need to be doing what Team Liquid is doing: instead of just literally taking players with money, they should be forging a really really tight relationship with the korean team, so that even tho they are "taking" players from them, those players are still realistically still on the korean team.

Not everyone has to be like team liquid. Please stop with this 'hurting' the korean teams thing. If anything, korean teams are hurting the players because they cannot provide a decent living for them. Playing sc2 at the pro level is no small task and should be considered a fulltime job. If you cant pay your players enough to make it worthwhile, they have every right to play for someone who will.

Alicia is currently captain.

Nooooo, some of my favourite SlayerS players. It's a shame, I hope a team picks them up soon.
|
GanZi was my favorite player on SlayerS with Ryung, really sad to see him go. SlayerS losing a lot of players (and arguably a bit of star power with GanZi), it's kinda sad. Gl to the both of them, I want to see lots and lots of GanZi!

Liquid isnt going to pick these players. They take a long time selecting players and don't just grab free agents like that
|
I saw R1CH wish GanZi good luck in his GSL matches on twitter. He only ever does that for Liquid players.
COMING SOON - Liquid'GanZi
|
Well this came out of nowhere. I wonder where this mass migration of Koreans will leave us in a few years. Furthermore, how will this affect their Code S games? Hunting for a team has to negatively affect your practice.

hmmm, these koreans are gonna get a rude awakening at some point i think.
|
Liquid_Ganzi, srsly TL needs another terran, Jinro is just too lonely .
|
lured with the great salary, sad to see these players leave such a great team. I don't think they will have better conditions / support anywhere.
