It usually goes like: 'leaving team T T' 'so sad' 'looking to join foreign team' To expand on my post, the problem with this is that I really only see korean scene as here for the long run. Foreign sponsors and teams are naturally with a different mentality, where all of the focus in right now, and right here, and few actually think how to make a stable scene that can last for a long time. Koreans going to western teams will weaken the structure of korean sc2 scene, will give short term profit to foreign teams, and once the next big thing comes around, foreign teams will most likely switch, or at least the sponsors will, while we won't have a healty korean scene to endure and prosper. | ||

There are more good Koreans. I hear you jinro.... It's unfortunate that sc2 in korea isn't getting good financial backing, but it kind of makes sense considering that bw is still around. Although we're likely seeing the last season of proleague & osl, so there might be some new sponsorships coming in if the brood war teams are not going to have tournaments to play. I don't want brood war to die, but at the same time I kind of want to see sc2 attain the same level of support. | ||

it makes me sad that the lure of a foreign team has chipped away at the community that a lot of korean teams have built, it must be hard to have an engaged team when half of them are being scouted by some over sea s team that is just in it for the money. : (
