Wow there. First of all MLG is not at the same lvl of GSL so compared to that MLG is also "minor league crap".
It is about the current results and let's be honest here, IdrA hasn't done so well for a while now.

MLG now is nearly on level as gsl, definitely at least as code a. Look at arena, MVP, Nestea, Losira, DRG, MKP, Ganzi, parting, OZ, MC.

Also you realize Ganzi has 4th at a MLG (one with Koreans at it not one of those all foreigner old ones), round of 4 gsl, and code a championship. Thats actually more than Idra.

Undeniably true, but having to play 15 games in 3 days or 15 games in one month is still kinda different, wouldn't you agree? :D I'm not saying that preparation and analyzing an opponent are to be higher valued than the ability to play a lot of games in a short period of time. I'm saying that comparing MLG tournaments with the GSL is stupid :D

No, that is what a biased american is like. MLG doesn't hold the standard of GSL. Nor is MLG bigger or more important than a tournament like DreamHack or an IEM.

Yeah it's GSL alone as the highest level tournament. Then MLG/Dreamhack/IEM are all on the next level below that...I really doubt many progamers would call MLG conclusively more important than Dreamhack

Let's face it - you can count the number of NA superstars on one hand. While you could come up with half a dozen names for all 3 races in EU.
