I'm so sick of this kind of garbage. Idra loses to Koreans, yes. But he also beats Koreans. Remember the MLG run of Boxer, Hongun and then Bomber? Remember when he took out Revival and then Puma at IEM?
And Huk, he has been doing amazing. He won MLG Orlando, and just did well at the Winter Arena, and regularly takes games off Koreans.
Fact is, these guys lose to Korean players, and also beat Koreans. You can't expect them to win every game and series, but they both have results that are more impressive than 75% of Korean players in the GSL.
[/QUOTE] Are you serious? I don't think anyone with the slighest knowledge of SC2 scene would write bs like this. Check Idra's excellent performance at IEM Hannover, he got stomped even by Europeans, and they weren't top tier. Don't talk about Idra beating Koreans when he is unable to win vs DarkForce... Impressive results? Has Idra ever won anything (besides low-lvl IEM)?

I can understand players leaving SlayerS. They seem very focused on a small core of their team. It's always BoxeR, MMA and Jessica with Eve under her arm in the spotlight. I don't know how it is in the team behind closed doors and all but in the current state of the korean sc2 scene I guess everyone is kinda desperate on some kind of exposure and if you don't get that in your team, well then better look for foreign teams I guess.

biased americans wont accept the fact that IdrA is not even a top foreigner no more, but mediocre at best

Calling IdrA mediocre is ridiculous.. Its guys that have only had decent results for a few months like Nerchio and Stephano that arent that good.... IdrA will always be a top foreignewr these boys are just flashes in the pan

Idra hasn't being playing well recently, I believe the results speak for themselves. I'm hoping he finds a way to improve his form, he was looking really good just before he went back to Korea for the second time.

lol ppl like u give me serious headache
Stephano on top for just a few months?
basically the guy dominates the foreign scene for like one year straight now
where was your beloved Idol IdrA the last couple of months?
Right - in the gym, doing biceps workout, along with his mates InControl and Machine (or Minigun hell I dont care)
winning absolutely nothing and losing all of his games when he got invited to play Code S.
Then how can u discredit Nerchio, a guy who actually performs, and lost to Code S champ Jjakj Four to Five, while IdrA just gets roflstomped all over the place.

What you biased europeans fail to realize is the ONLY tournaments that matter are GSL and MLG everything else is just minor league crap.. and IdrA has vetter results than both of your BOYS in the two leagues that ACTUALLLY MEAN SOMETHING... so in review GSL Ro8 for IdrA MLG Win... those two guys... nothing
|
Huh, I thought this thread was about Ganzi and Taeja leaving Slayers.
|
Not sure if Jepsyn is a troll or just really stupid..
When was the last time Idra didn't go out last in group play?

your argument failed since Stephano never attended Code S up to this date, ignorant idra Fankiddo

Continuing to derail the thread will result in my wrath. This is not an idra thread, this is not a thread about which non Korean is best, stop arguing about it

It's very simple really. Foreign teams are still looking to add these B+ Korean talents. I would bet that both Teaja and Ganzi have been contacted by foreign team(s) and already had unofficial offers before this announcement. If you are a player of Teaja's calibur, who just cannot reach that next level to get to Code S consistently, and a foreign team comes to you offering to send you to IEMs and ASOGs of the world, do you choose to stay in your current team or take the offer and leave?
This is a bit concerning for those foreign players as it's now that much harder for them to find a decent team.

Lots of Koreans wanting to participate in foreign tournaments. No foreigners wanting to compete in Korea, or are doing well in Korea.
So many things can be inferred. Sooooo many....
|
Korean SC2 seems such a fail. Too many Koreans want to join foreign teams. :/
|
oh god! EG pleeease pick up Ganzi, he already looks like an evil samurai sword and i love his hate for MMA
|
See, I see all these people leaving Korean teams for foreigner teams because when the BW guys come, they'll all pale in comparison perhaps.
That's my really rash and odd view of this whole phenomena.
|
Maybe instead of being simply a team mate among all star Korean players, they want to become the star player of a foreign team. Like how viOLet became Empire`s ace player.
