There's just more opportunity on foreign teams these days, more tournaments and money
what do you do when you get ahead? GET MORE AHEAD!

it makes me sad that the lure of a foreign team has chipped away at the community that a lot of korean teams have built, it must be hard to have an engaged team when half of them are being scouted by some over sea s team that is just in it for the money. : (

i feel like in a lot of ways the foreign teams are destroying any kind of culture (korean or otherwise) that should exist in a team , just imo

I'm not surprised the next player to go is Ryung.

You heard it first.

I don't think Ryung's fooling around is to be taken seriously.
I seriously doubt he hates MMA, it's all just a for fun.

I don't think he really hates MMA
but all these talk does come from somewhere.
I can feel a bit of resentment in his attitude.
It's comparable to sibling rivalry...

WTH I see everybody talking about this ;D... Where can I find information about this dislike of MMA?

EGGanzi and EGTaeja?

Nothing like EG doing some poaching :p

Yeah because picking up players that recently left a team is poaching...

MMA and Ryung are best friends. They dont dislike each other. People love to come out with bs drama.

That's unfortunate, but I'm glad this ended without the seemingly usual drama.

Here's the concern I have with Liquid picking these guys up: Liquid prides itself as a family team, putting team chemistry above results. However, picking up Taeja or Ganzi would just be a pure skill purchase. It would also delay that documentary.

The main force from Slayers are mainly Puzzle, MMA which they have results in GSL & overseas tourney.

little late but ganzi being a recent code S semi finalist kind of out-does puzzle.

Um yeah, in the world of SPORTS as well as ESPORTS, teams pick up players based on A LOT of things, up to and INCLUDING skill. There is nothing special about liquid that isnt found in other teams as well. I for one, could not care less about TL because they dont have a single decent terran, so IMO it would be a good idea for them to grab one up.

Why is everyone leaving slayers these days? Jessica maybe? Money is the most likely reason.

im fairly certain its all money. These two likely feel that they deserved more and slayers management didn't see eye to eye with that.

tbh with how well they have been doing (even if ganzi barely didn't make it into code S) both are damn good

I'm not usually one of those dudes on TL that every single time someone leaves there team, every fanboy goes "LIQUID NEEDS ANOTHER GOOD KOREAN!!!!!!!!!!", however, Taeja is an absolutely can't miss prospect. This dude is a beast and would be immediately at the top of Liquid's lineup with HerO.

It's unfortunate that Korean teams don't have the financial backing, for the most part, but it's reality at the moment and it's not the foreign teams fault.

Ganzi and Taeja left and are free agents, foreign teams and korean teams have equal opportunity to make fair offer.

Everyone is first and foremost a PLAYER, regardless of whether he's from. There are more good Koreans.
