Is it because the maps are becoming larger or is there another reason? Yes, larger maps mean you can't really put on pressure without it being all in since it'll be hard to defend any counter attacks. Drops should be more effective on the bigger maps, but we'll have to see.

If you aren't the best Terran in the world you basically can't ever move out of your base on the larger maps against a more mobile force.

If not, any good sources for iphone-friendly SC2 video content to watch at the gym? ![]() Yea Twitch/Justin Tv have 2 apps one for all justin.tv videos and one for just gaming (twitch). Both can found in itunes app store. As for content, try out SOTG (state of the game) or Inside the game with DjWheat. Both there are also a lot less popular shows out there, those are mainly informational about sc2 scene/entertaining. If you want to learn maybe check out day9 dailys !

Yeah right now I'm playing masters almost every game. But the problem is now that I'm afraid of going on a losing streak before the next season and then I'll be placed into diamond lmao.

I think The Shattered Temple would be a much better map if they simply removed the rocks at the gold base and changed it to a normal blue base.

I think I have seen Demuslim use such build order but I am not sure exactly what it is. Any 1rax, reaper expand, etc opens with a baracks. Afterwards, get 2 more rax while the CC is building. The rest (gas timing, additional rax) depends on style.

Mind the Reapers and possible Banshees and 1-1-1 all-ins.

Drops get shut down easily by Mutas/Overlord spread and a ton of spines at every expansion. TvZ on Tal'Darim is absolutely frightening unless you're a Korean pro.

I find TvP can be quite frightening too considering late late game you can't make it across the map before templar get storms if they get warped in as reinforcements. Not only that but if you get a mildly bad trade warpgates let them just roll over you.
