Replace Colossus with more exciting, more dangerous splash Robotics unit. Fix carrier micro or replace carrier Replace mothership with non-hero caster air unit. Rename Phoenix AA Splash Air unit SC2, now with 200% more excitement, playability, and watchability SC2BW here we come! A couple years ago I would've been one of those people that wished Blizzard didn't just rehash old ideas from Brood War, but after seeing how awfully unfun, uninteresting, or just plain broken some of their SC2 concepts were, I am leaning closer to fully agreeing with you. | ||

Actually many of those suggestions are very intelligent, and could really make the game more varied, apart from replacing units; that should just never be done in any RTS ever. | ||

So then i assume its basically a mech firebat. Or will it do more? I want it to be different enough to a landed Viking and if its a short ranged tanky thing then it will be different enough. But then i'm assuming that this wont come alongside other changes to other units which they could very well do. Fingers crossed that isn't the case. My other thought, which is flat out stupid, was it could function as a suit, kind of like the NE Hippogryph Riders from WC3. | ||

He wants Wraiths that can't attack air (faster, lower-damage Banshee). Giving Ravens EMP makes them into Science Vessels that can build PDDs. Lurkers are SC1, whether from Hydras or Roaches. Broodlords from Mutalisks is just like Guardians. And Scourge pretty much speaks for itself. "more exciting, more dangerous splash Robotics unit" is code-language for "Reaver", just as "Replace mothership with non-hero caster air unit" is code-language for "Arbiter". And "AA Splash Air unit" is just another way to say "Corsair." The absolute best you could say is that he wants SC1 units with some gimmick attached that makes them seem like not the same unit. Vultures with cliff-climb, or Goliaths with AoE GtA attacks. It still makes the game less unique and distinct from SC1. | ||
