A couple years ago I would've been one of those people that wished Blizzard didn't just rehash old ideas from Brood War, but after seeing how awfully unfun, uninteresting, or just plain broken some of their SC2 concepts were, I am leaning closer to fully agreeing with you.

Actually many of those suggestions are very intelligent, and could really make the game more varied, apart from replacing units; that should just never be done in any RTS ever.

Looks like a medic to me. The end of medivacs? That would be absolutely stupid since it's more or less the only interesting design for terran in SC2.

Blizzard has combined the marine, the thor, the hellion, the marauder, and viking all into a single unit. It can now stim, toast workers in a single line, slow with concussive shells, have bonus life due to shield, transform into flying unit at will, has 400 hp, a 9 range air attack good vs armored while flying and a quadruple splash damage attack vs light armored while landed, is repairable by both medivacs and SCV's, can be made in either the barracks or the factory, and shoots as fast as a marine. Also, all infantry, air, and ground vehicle upgrades apply to the unit for a maximum stack of +9/+9 upgrades.

The only down side is only one can fit in a medivac.

just a helion walker mode wich gains armor in exchange of speed making it a better tank unit for mech.

not much else... im actually just waiting for the zerg and protoss ones hoping to see units that will give more variety to this races... terran isnt the race that needs more unit variety right now tbh -_-

Clearly Hellion transformer. The wheels are just, undeniable really.

So then i assume its basically a mech firebat. Or will it do more? I want it to be different enough to a landed Viking and if its a short ranged tanky thing then it will be different enough. But then i'm assuming that this wont come alongside other changes to other units which they could very well do. Fingers crossed that isn't the case.

My other thought, which is flat out stupid, was it could function as a suit, kind of like the NE Hippogryph Riders from WC3.

Helion transforms into a marauder and back. Automatically, depending on the ai, which does a quick mathematical computation on what would be more effective vs incoming attack.

most likely it starts as basic walking infantry, and gets a Factory tech-lab upgrade to morph

Essentially a firebat, that can be upgraded to have wheels and a viking-style mode-change

Most of them are. He wants a Vulture with cliff-climbing as a special ability. He wants AoE Goliaths. He wants Wraiths that can't attack air (faster, lower-damage Banshee). Giving Ravens EMP makes them into Science Vessels that can build PDDs. Lurkers are SC1, whether from Hydras or Roaches. Broodlords from Mutalisks is just like Guardians. And Scourge pretty much speaks for itself. "more exciting, more dangerous splash Robotics unit" is code-language for "Reaver", just as "Replace mothership with non-hero caster air unit" is code-language for "Arbiter". And "AA Splash Air unit" is just another way to say "Corsair."

The absolute best you could say is that he wants SC1 units with some gimmick attached that makes them seem like not the same unit. Vultures with cliff-climb, or Goliaths with AoE GtA attacks. It still makes the game less unique and distinct from SC1.
