This might be a transforming unit in the same way that the siege tank is a transforming unit.
I see nothing wrong with more positional control units. I think they add a lot of depth to the game.

can we have air to air aoe and rid of all/revamp ground to air aoe? my #1 annoyance.
well, #2 after micro limiting spells.

i hope they change around the units and spells to make the game better.

this seems like all-in-one unit like medivac and hellion...

if they got rid of marauder and hellion, and brought back firebat and vulture...

You guys dont consider how important how important lore is to blizzard.
All this has to go into a logical evolutionary perspective.
Medivac cant lose their medic abilities, thats just not logical as far as productivity goes.
Stuff has to become better, it cant revert back to 10 years ago just for balance issues.

Also the new unit is probably steve jobs cadaver into a viking like mech, robocop style.

Terran
Make a mech hover bike unit - the new vulture, whatever the name is - to replace the Hellion.
Moving shot micro.
The Cliff-jump upgrade at armory, might have cooldown.
Separate Speed upgrade at armory. Make it ridiculously fast with upgrade.
Mines or reaper mine upgrade as well at tech lab.
Give Marauder AoE attack or eliminate it altogether.
Remove Reaper
Make Tanks 2 supply.
Replace Thor with new splash AA unit. Less supply.
Make Banshee faster, but nerf attack dmg/hp a bit.
Reduce Comsat footprint by 25-33%.
Nerf MULE mining rate slightly.
Give EMP to Raven and remove HSM.
Give Ghost new ability

Zerg:
Give Hydras Marauder's concussive slowing attack, upgraded at hydra den. More in line with Zerg's
Make Roaches 1 supply again so zerg feels more swarmy compared to terran. Nerf HP and attack accordingly. Buff default armor to compensate for reduced HP.
Lurkers evolve from Roach at tier 2. 2 supply, not seige range. No burrow move.
Make Burrow Hatchery tech.
Broodlords evolve from mutalisk.
Replace corruptor.
Add scourge.


Protoss:
Make Warpgate cooldown a bit slower than Gateway cooldown.
Move Warpgate upgrade to Twilight Council, adjust research time.
Replace Colossus with more exciting, more dangerous splash Robotics unit.
Fix carrier micro or replace carrier
Replace mothership with non-hero caster air unit.
Rename Phoenix
AA Splash Air unit

SC2, now with 200% more excitement, playability, and watchability

Besides, hellions were only "out of control" in TvT before the BF nerf. They suck terribly in TvP and are decent in TvZ/TvT. Zerg has roaches and mutas to easily deal with them. Defending against speedling runbys is much harder for terran than it is for zerg to defend against hellion harass.

My vote is that its a unit that uses cryogenic technology . Nothing I can think of in the SC games uses the bitter frost as a weapon, only seems like its due for one.

To be specific, I'd like to think it'l be a robot (A.I), instead of a bio-mechanical suit/human operated.

Hopefully this will not be an "a-move, massive damage" unit like many of Blizzard's Starcraft units. Unfortunately, this will probably be another AoE caster like all the casters from Wings of Liberty.

of course, i was just referring to the unit that got combined into one.

goliath is 100 times better than thor. the whole "hero" unit blizzard tried to go with in sc2 was a BAD BAD FUCKING BAD idea. i still want to punch browder in the face for mothership, i gave it a chance and its a no.

edit: firebat was good vs ling(obviously), it had uses vs. darkswarm and zealot heavy plays.

I don't think they would add more crowd control. But my guess is that itll have a supportive role.

It's pretty painfully obvious that this terran picture is of a hellion transformed into a bio unit.

Vulture was considered the most imba unit in SCBW because it was the fastest unit on the ground (with speed upgrade) and it laid 3 "mini-nukes" while only costing 75 mins and totally owning T1 of the other races (lings and zealots). Vultures had hover bike technology. Hellions have wheels without mines and is not the fastest unit in the game. Doesn't seem like Blizz was evolving unit design at all in this case.

If the vulture with mines and speed is back, I will 100% go back to Terran from Zerg as Vults were my fav unit.
