Lurkers evolve from Roach at tier 2. 2 supply, not seige range. No burrow move. Make Burrow Hatchery tech. Broodlords evolve from mutalisk. Replace corruptor. Add scourge. Protoss: Make Warpgate cooldown a bit slower than Gateway cooldown. Move Warpgate upgrade to Twilight Council, adjust research time. Replace Colossus with more exciting, more dangerous splash Robotics unit. Fix carrier micro or replace carrier Replace mothership with non-hero caster air unit. Rename Phoenix AA Splash Air unit SC2, now with 200% more excitement, playability, and watchability Seems a lot like Brood War... | ||

Transport mode to get fast access to the battlefileld and get out when high threat units are dead. Medic mode to heal bio. Perhaps a new transport unit will be introduced to replace the Medivac. | ||

The silhouette and general function overlaps with the Marauder's, so if I'm correct I wouldn't be too surprised to see that unit given the boot. That would make me happy. However I'm less thrilled that this would confirm the reappearance of the blue flame racecar. (Hopefully they reassess its AoE range for HOTS, because in my opinion a low-tech low-investment harass unit that multiplies its damage when the defending player tries to flee or defend with his workers is pretty doofy.) | ||

Actually, I remember watching an interview (maybe the HotS community preview) where Browder says that ideas for the Mothership were floating around Blizzard before he was hired for SC2. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the Thor was influenced by Browder's C&C background, as it's basically a Mammoth Tank in mech-walker form. | ||

just my 2 cents... but i think the moving warpgate to twilight council tech is an AWSOME idea. tho you will never get the toss to agree to it... but it makes sense to me. when introduced i am pretty sure it was meant to be a "gateways are still the main producers... but for an upgrade u can make units anywhere on the map, but cd time makes its slower than normal gates, since you are gaining the convenience of being able to warp in anywhere on the map. but somewhere it got changed where warpgates are mandatory and faster than warpgates. not to mention... Broodwar is by FAR more exciting to spectate than SC2 and i have switched completely off of BW to SC2 but the only match that has ever come close to a BW match in excitement was the Boxer v ..NAda(?) games at MLG anaheim which was a 1.5 hour AWSOME game | ||
