So in the EG dispute, Lee advocated an honor system and slandered EG (while misrepresenting the situation).
In this dispute, it's revealed that he chose to go against the principles of his perceived honor system in withholding wages and lying about sponsership money so that he wouldn't have to pay players by the honor system he established with them.
... There really has to be another side to this story, or this really just makes no sense unless Lee is as big an ass as he's made out to be here.
Also, the advertisement thing is just plain stupidity on his part.

Well all of sudden this puts a whole new spin on the Eg and Puma thing, doesn’t it? Everyone was so quick to crucify EG, but it sounds to me that Lee based on his actions is a little oily to me. Can you say redemption?

Well, something has been wrong in TSL for a while now... I think we all saw it coming. I don't know if it is really TSL that is to blame,or the other teams are sensing weakness and have started picking them apart, but yeah... I would get the hell out of that team if I was a player.

Yeah, you don't know how a business operates. We get it.
LOL you're lost kiddo.
An employer paying employees? Thats a verbal agreement at the very least.
If my job all the sudden didnt give me a pay check without any heads up because they were dissatisfied with my work, that's a law suit

the practice part i could see, but guaranteeing result in the contract? not very likely

I think most jobs (excepting things like retail, etc) where you actually have responsibilities, there will be a certain amount of work expected from the employees. Whether you accomplish this work during the day, or you have to continue working at other times is entirely up to you. I can't see any person not "finishing" the tasks they are responsible to complete often enough that it is noticed, and still keeping their position, that would be laughable.

I guess this why I should actually start quoting people who edit their posts all the time! So, they cannot take out the nonsense they post! lmao
It's funny that you decided to keep that though considering I have been following this story the entire time and well read on what everyone has said. So, no sir. Your still wrong.
I'll leave it at that.

There was no written contract. It's been said many times already. Get it through your head.

The sad thing is, some jobs will fire you for staying late, and will complain when you don't get your work done, all the while cutting hours and continuing to push the limits of people's productivity. And they'll say nothing about skipping your paid breaks but skipping your unpaid lunch is blasphemy. Literally everything's about "how can we (the company) not get sued and get the most out of our workers?" But that's another discussion.
As far as TSL/Coach/FD/Trickster it seems pretty clear all parties are at fault. I have really tried being a FD and Trickster fan, but it's been increasingly disappointing. Trickster's about as inspired in his play as HongUn anymore, even less so (You gotta love HongUn's attitude, no matter how much he all-ins), and FD is spiraling downward. I find their lack of work disturbing.
Seriously, maybe they started TSL, but other than an easier practice regimen, did they seriously think they could compete at the highest level? What was their goal? It's a bit vain to think because you're the best now, you can shove off and still be the best. Again, I cheered for FD even though his up/down matches, in spite of him not giving results for the whole of 2011. But if he's not going to practice enough to play televised matches, how can one cheer? He'll get knocked out of code A if his play is as shaky as the last several times. Trickster's only a couple notches above right now.
Given that oGs has a much harder practice requirement, it's no surprise that FD and Tester (at the time) were such beasts in the beta. They can still get that back, but it's much more competitive now, and all signs point to "they aren't interested."

I'm glad EG bought out Puma then. Well done. TSL's got their work cut out for them.

FD and Trickster are a bad egg. Watch out ST. Also, Coach Lee could've handled TSL players differently than this. I just hope the rest of the players on the team wont get severly affected. TSL.Killer fighting!

Funny you say that I have too. I've been active in all of the threads in regards to TSL/EG/Puma and think its hillarious that this whole Korean honor system has been debunked.
You can leave it at that, I would to if I had nothing of substance to say.

For the people bringing in the "oh FD + Trick left so TSL/Coach Lee must be terrible" argument:
Stop. TSL changed up their training regime from (for lack of a better way of putting it) a Western style to BW style. They had a laid back environment but when they realised they weren't getting the results they wanted, mixed with the fact that other top teams started training properly, TSL decided to train harder too. FD/Trick didn't enjoy this, preferring the more laid back environment (guess why they're not posting results) and left.
At least this isn't making as many waves as the TSL/Puma/EG situation :>

Curious to see how legitimate the SC2Con is.

Older than you. End of conversation. You want to keep this conversation going you can try to PM me, but odds are I'll ignore you because you already showed all your cards.
You just repeated the same thing you said before and I told you there was no written agreement! Verbal contracts have no weight. It changes the whole story. There is no law suit because it would never hold in a court room. lmao
My God! If they were on contract, sure the employer would fire them and they would get paid for the days and hours they came into work if that's the type of contract they had, but they didn't.
-_-

The "verbal agreement" must have been carried out before by him (paying them), showing there's an intent to treat it as a contract. Furthermore, it's been used publicly to advertise the team as being the first to give the players salaries. I'm pretty sure any legal court will treat that "verbal agreement" as a contract.
