@zala2023 same thing for me =D

i can't believe they removed metal but kept in typhoon peaks when it has a backdoor hallway similar to shakuras plateau T_T
the new maps don't seem that great as a zerg player =( i don't see easy expansions beyond the natural

Uh, TLPD only uses a tiny sample known as professional tournaments. Blizzard has not only that, but also literally every ladder game played by any Masters or Grandmasters around the entire world. It's ridiculously laughable that you'd take the sample size that's only a fraction of what Blizzard uses.


The fact that Blizzard's data suggests TDA is somehow Zerg favored is proof enough for me that it's completely worthless.

Actually, International TLPD has a 46/54 split for every matchup on TDA LE, with P > Z > T > P.
Also, Zerg players have been complaining about ZvP on the map being very hard, and you see Zergs all-in on it very often. So yeah, I'll take the TLPD data, and the opinions of really good players, over data gathered from terrible players on the ladder.

WHAT?!?!?!!?! Blasphemy!!!!

They all have really close 3rds with no rocks on them, I dunno what else you can ask for. Lots of open ground too. The only thing I see that may be a problem are some o the 4ths look akward to take, but that's just me :S

And balanced at close by air positions. Therefore you will win 50% of the time depending on spawn positions. Its the perfectly balanced map!

eh... now that I think about it, I only really think of Metalopolis as a good map because it was the least shitty map of the release pool. I mean, sure, the third is possible to take without killing some stupid rocks, but close pos and cross pos are imbaimbaimba and close air is kind of silly sometimes. All the new maps have easy thirds in most spawns, and only two of them have imbaimbaimba spawns... I just wish that they would remove close spawns on Shattered and that new map Abyssal Caverns, they're ridiculous as always

I feel like close positions was more imbalanced than cross positions, although at my level I probably wasn't utilizing the attack paths as well as I should.
