When making a balanced Ladder map pool it is important to use ladder win rates not tourney win rates. The ladder attempts to pu you up against evenly skilled opponents while a tournament puts you up against the next person in the bracket. You can have win rates skewed in tourneys due to skill diferences. As the explination says even with close spawns it has a 60% Zerg win rate then it is almost certainly from ladder stats not tourney stats. | ||

Lucky that the mappools of the leagues won't adapt to Blizzards new maps and stay with what is good. New blizzard maps tend to fail anyhow. And yes, I am really angry because of a map - fuck, why not!? And @ 2v2 as well: Monlyth Ridge out?! Why the heck? But let Discord IV, Kaydharin Depths and Scorched Haven stay?! Nothing more to say. lol. | ||

Metalopolis 1.1 Race Stats (non-mirrors): TvZ: 17-16 (51.5%) ZvP: 11-14 (44%) PvT: 12-14 (46.2%) Zerg has lower than 50% win rate in gsl even with close spawns disabled. How does blizzard not think that there is something wrong if zerg has 60% win rate even with close positions. Underlying reasons like better players or more abusive players chose to veto meta since they want to abuse other retarded maps instead, leaving behind all those players who are still trying to improve their play on a macro map. Or have blizzard ever thought that more than 50% of the abusive maps on ladder actually boosted non-zerg against zerg win rates/mmr artificially, i believe there are still zergs out there who did'nt veto those bad maps for whatever reasons. | ||
