Also The fire one is wall off frenzy....you can funnel into one channel for nat and main, then continue a wall off onto the gold REALLY easily. As zerg you can block any choke with any 3 buildings and due to creep spread, 1 tumor from your natural gives you enough creep to block the nat from your enemy! | ||

It's always been like this, if you right click on the tower it wont show as idle, if you right click next to the tower it will show as idle. unless they changed it so it will never show as idle | ||

Terran Mech is especially scary. I’m like “hmmm, Zerg kept him bottled and harassed yeah and devastated his army 3 times” but then, “oh terran moved out and he’s got some thors and some seiged up tanks and Zerg ……. Nope this Zerg is not gonna win this one either.” What is the world. Am I afraid to even watch Zv? games now. Naw :D The drops! I am having nightmares about drops pecking at my legs and I never build spines or spores around my feet so the drops just keep biting me till they bleed me dry. Scariest dreams ever. And the observer stays above it all laughing at my every move and I never even know he is! Its humiliating. Its not like it makes me scared to play Zerg though, I love them so much. Just wanted to get that off my chest. | ||

After calling me a 1k+ game noob still in plat and I should get laid (not really relevant imo lol), I started to wonder what is considered standard progression? To give a little background the only broodwar experience I had was playing through the campaign and moving onto the next game. I dabbled in wc3 but I was still an extreme noob back then, and I purchased sc2 the second day it came out. After 467 terran wins I've worked my way up from the bronze league to occasionally playing diamond players, but after going all the way through season 2 without a promotion to diamond I wonder if I haven't been progressing as much? I have very high aspirations (want to reach top masters), but a lot of those people have previous RTS experience right? I hear lots of claims of people buying the game and instantly soaring to master league, but is that a common occurrence? I suppose another thing that might be stressing me is that two of my friends have worked their way up to diamond already when I can't seem to break the barrier. I don't want to give up, but I've been hitting major losing streaks lately and I feel like maybe I've reached the peak of my potential without getting some external help. Please don't say "everyone progresses differently" because I'm perfectly aware of that, but with the amount of games I've played I would figure that I should have broken into diamond by now. Questions: I have 467 1v1 wins and I'm still Plat, is this normalish? If not, how far should I have progressed? If I feel I'm reaching a plateau, what can I do to break this? | ||

Maybe my perspective is jaded but a uniform progression for every person is not reality. For every person like me who ladders for enjoyment and doesn't rage and practice after every loss there are two people who just bought new accounts and were bumped to diamond with their tremendous smurf skills. What I'm saying is you really shouldn't worry about your league. This isn't iCCup. If you want a direct answer- it's normal for me and many of my friends. | ||

 and about the rankings, I have about 600 wins and feel like i am a decent player but only am in plat as well. But I noticed there are still a lot of small things I need to practice. Some of these Masters and Diamond players have been playing RTS games for years. Especially if they played Sc1. Just keep practicing but have fun! Ranking means nothing especially in a tournament. It's really funny when the bronze leaguer can win a local tourney ^_^ | ||
