I think the GSL should try to inclued as many of the blizzard/ladder maps as reasonably possible just to keep the games familiar to the viewer. Some of the maps in current GSL pool are so large you almost have a totally different game. Still good to watch, but not really the same as what I'm playing.

Might be a good map though. Typhon Peaks is just... hurtful. Incredibly ugly and a horrible map in general in my opinion. I used to dislike Xel'naga Caverns back when it was first released because the tileset was pretty bland. But after awhile I realized the map was actually pretty dynamic and interest: two choices for third base, far of expansions, Tasteless secret hallway, two pathways down the middle. Definitely my favourite map of the Blizzard maps now.

I like dual sight, but the lava might be a bit too distracting..but as a map it looks kinda fun. The typhon peaks one, quite a few zergs who hate the map. It's like force field haven, you can cut off most(if not all) of a passage with a few force fields. Once you get colossi out, it's gg. And it's quite awesome to see a telecom company sponsoring the event( and coke sponsor gsl 5 too). Shows it growing out our little sphere into a more mass audience.

I think I like these additions (as well as Typhon Peaks) more than Tal'darim/Terminus (which I think are just too big, when every first attack has to be supported by three or at least two bases instead of two or one). Wondering why they got rid of Shakuras though Exactly my opinion, I think crossfire is great but Tal'darim/terminus are already over the top size-wise. Don't get me wrong, I really prefer Terminus to steppes, but damn, in my last PvZ I tried on this map I had the feeling I could just never leave my base maxed or a million roaches from a million different sides were gonna flank me. Basicly not so much about size but about different attack-paths, which you basicly can't cover all. Crevasse is, in my opinion, borderline.

Surely if OP was lying in the beginning someone would have called him out on it. Don't know if GOM taking it down means anything though.
