Xel Naga fortress feels so much like a 3 person Crevasse/Xel Naga, a bit boring. Typhon is one of my favorite in the new maps.

Then, all information regarding Intel was taken down for a few days. Then it was put back up. So we'll see.

Then again I'm biased because I've always loved three-spawn-maps because of the inevitable asymmetric positioning in each and every game. Makes for a very unique feeling. People shouldn't make the mistake of just looking at the general set-up of this map, because that's indeed not really spectacular. What makes it so good in my opinion is, when you consider all the possible spawning locations and the resulting different attack-path-constellations, especially when expanding towards the "open" corner with the empty spawning position.

Typhon Peaks is a solid map. I have no idea why it's not in the ladder map pool. It's like Blizzard makes these nice, solid maps and keeps them off the ladder and puts in shitty "interesting" maps for us to ladder on instead. They be trolling us.

Dual Sight looks like 2 player Testbug, which is cool. Hopefully we'll see some epic games on there. Typhon Peaks is a solid map. I have no idea why it's not in the ladder map pool. Its really not that great of a map lots of small chokes, and in certian positions you can go through the destructible rocks like shakuras.

You give Blizzard a lot of shit while it appears you do not actually play on the 1v1 Ladder yourself ![]()

Lots of ways to flank, make runbys, expand and harass your opponent, especially if you are very active with breaking the rocks. No matter which way the opponent attacks, there are always 1-2 ways to move around his army and kill his base before attacking the army from 2 sides and crushing it.

Hum it's a great map, there a choke but there are also open ground, multiple attack path to the nat and only one attack path to the main base. Unlike shakuras, the path through the destructible rocks lead to your nat, not your main.
