and i really dont like that these buffs they change the role of the infestor from support to more of a damage caster. I dont like that infestors might become an absolute must in every mu. Imo zerg needs more of a general buff then these niche changes, and im not talking about making zerglings do 10 damage attack or anything but something like as someone said some posts ago, a viable way of scouting before lair. | ||

Well in zvz you can go with hydras instead of infestors on 2 base. In zvt i open infestor after lair, many prefer the muta opening, sure many might transition into infestor when on 3 or 4 base but far from everyone do. And right now in zvp infestors are rare, i'm kinda trying to work them in but if you skip hydras vs mass gate or the incontrol style, mass gate with just a few colossi you're kinda vulnerable, imo. | ||

Also, some buffs for zerg. This patch will improve the overall balance. Its a small step, though. But thats how blizzard is doing it: several small steps instead of a huge one, that could go in the wrong direction. Oh, and the "macro timer"-thingy helps zergs the most, obviously. So thats basically a zerg buff, even though every race gets it. Also, epic fail how some of you protoss thought that the archon toilet was balanced. And plz dont argue with "but its rarely seen, super duper lategame tech AND costs a lot of ressources". Something that allows you to destroy a 200/200 army without any losses and without any chance for your opponent to avoid it, is op. Period. | ||

Thats being unreasonable, remember when they decreased the bunker build time, at a time when bunker rushes were a lot more common. And when there was a huge outcry about the stupidity of it the change didnt make it past the ptr. They arent all that bad. dont know about WoW though...never really played it. | ||

If you purposely run your units into a vortex when you see a Protoss army that includes High Templars or Archons you deserve to lose those units. It's like setting your way points to an enemy cannon line. Why would you do that? You do know the Vortex can be positioned wherever the Protoss wants, i.e. he can put the Vortex ON half of your army and suck it in without you being able to do anything about it. Zzz | ||
