While I think Mutas will be more of a threat, I think people are blowing everything out of proportion. Roach timing pushes will still punish people who go for early Mutas, also it's not like Hydras are bad against Mutas. If people were forgetting, ZvZ in BW was only Mutaling/Scourge and NOTHING else. This matchup is just fine as it is. If anything, it allows more options than just roach vs. roach. Get over it people.

Just follow July Zerg and make corruptors. They shut down phoenixes reasonably well, and stop the transition into colossus.

In theory a full stack of corruptors can't kill a single phoenix. Speed, y'know. That's what annoys me at least, a good protoss harassing in the midgame had to be aware of infestors, thus actually play carefully when using them. Now he can just run in, kill a few drones and run out without a problem. I mean.. there should be some risk attached to every harassment strategy.

Then again, I would rather have annoying, invincible phoenix every now and then compared to ALWAYS facing mutas in ZvZ. It's going to suck so bad.

ZvZ and PvZ will come back to its BW days now as muta will gain a much more important range in ZvZ and Protoss will use their air superior to fight Zerg which I think both are very good change!!!.

Also, stalemate condition is retarded. Should just be "If there is no income, production, or any units or buildings taking any damage." If you can't do that, it should be at least "no structures OR units destroyed." If units are still dying, very high chance it's not a stalemate.

I welcome the FG nerf for TvZ and ZvZ but with the Phoenix build time buff I'm petrified of PvZ. I can already see myself being forced to go hydras and spending enough time chasing them to be crapped on by collos.

Warning to protoss: 6pools everywhere.

I think Blizzard recognizes that now zerg has an easier time with harass early on after the last patches, so they make it a little harder to defend harassment around the middle and later into the game. I could see that being their thought process with the fungal vs air nerf, allows a little more mid game harassment rather than only mid game bio pushes to keep the zerg from getting out of control. Just my interpretation of it. I wonder if it's too drastic a change though, but I'm sure they put more thought behind it than people give them credit for.

They need to change fungal back!!

Just don't have them binded by fungal, but take the damage for all flying units.

Ground units get binded to the ground. Have you guys ever seen sc1 ZvZ where both players go mass mutalisk/devours????

That's when it gets tense with plague and it makes the game really exciting to watch someone pull a plague on a large group of mutas.

Same thing here, fungal should be similar to plague but less damage for air units... Commmon. This is like... making psionic storm not affect flying units... it makes the game more bland.

didnt see anything about multiple people being able to watch a replay though, which is kind of upsetting...unless i missed it??

changes to voidray i think are good, thats what voidray was designed to do since alpha stages of beta, and wondering how much the phoenixes are going to chance pvz and pvt, cant wait to see.
