Why are most of the Zerg players rejecting the idea of larvae inject through mini map?
If you've given more practice for the precise clicks on the mini map, shouldn't it be the most rewarding way to macro injections?
Also did someone on one of TL's forum stated that when the larvae pops/hatchery ready for injects, you can point at the hatchery through your mini map to see colour changes(or something)? I'm not sure, can someone confirm this? I use the backspace click* technique for all my injections, so I just want to know what's the set back from this before I do any changes that I might regret.

Anyone else hating fast pool proxy reaper combo >.< ?

its prolly the most broken chese ever. when u are pp team its a freeloss, u can just leave. saves time
team with 1p still struggle too much. since protoss is useless vs BOTH of these units

Can someone tell me how to make the camera follow a unit in the replay viewer? I've looked all over the SC2 options menus to try and figure it out, and also searched on google. I've also tried hitting random keys on my keyboard to find the hotkey but I haven't been able to find it >.<

if you click and hold on the unit portrait it will follow a unit, this also works in game. As far as I know there is no toggle for following a unit so you gotta hold mouse 1 down

From http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Replay_Features
Unit Following - You can lock the camera to any unit to follow it around the map. To do this select the unit and press Ctrl+Shift+F.

Has anyone evern won a real ZvP? That is, against a protoss player that wasn't a 4-gate clown? A ZvP that went far into the midgame, with colossus or storm and crap? Personally I've deemed it impossible, and I've tried everything for ~500 games.

I was curious, if any higher level zerg players could provide me with their insight on this zerg glitch, and its effectiveness ingame. here is a screenshot showing it.

Basically, just like other variations, this works due to the tiny amount of creep thats left behind with a cancelled hatchery. Im curious, would this be a viable way to spread creep to places you normally wouldnt have creep at yet. (before lair).

I use the minimap for inject as zerg and I don't reject it. I used to hotkey seperate queens to check for energy but with the minimap it's so much easier.
The target icon changes to green when you're highlighting inject larvae on the minimap if it isn't already hatching but it's kind of hard to notice when you're microing at the same time since the target is really small.

Canceling a hatch costs a few minerals so it's usable in a situations but not economically viable in the early game.

Someone knows how to Micro Stack workers in order to defend? I had a couple lings attacking a terran mineral line and he defended stacking his scvs on a mineral, attacking with his scvs to 1 zergling (also only 1 zergling was able to attack 1 of them) and almost killing my wave of ligns with only scvs. Someone knows how to do that?

So you're going to wander your queen to ridiculous places where if he has any kind of scouting it'll die, to cancle a hatchery which costs you minerals. That's not even counting the injects you miss.

Yeah the hatch cancel stuff is not really usefull, I tried to uses it in ZvZ to build a spine crawler off to the side where he can't see it being built. The problem is that u have to save up some money just to do the trick and then the crawler starts taking damage until u move it into his creep, so usually its already half dead when it finally plants itself.
I gave up on, I'm sure there's a way to use it to wall off but I don't see that being usefull for zerg.

I'm not real sure where to post this, but just a random question..
Ever since the game came out I've been more into spectating games rather than playing them. I know there is youtube and also livestreaming all over the place, but it's just not the same as actually spectating and having the luxury to move your own camera around the map. Is there a place or a channel in IRC where people wouldn't mind so much for letting me spectate their matches?

Just had a slightly amusing ladder game.. so I go for the blue flame hellion drop on my P opponent, He pulls his probes away as his army scare away my dropship: + Show Spoiler + Assuming im gonna fly away, he pulls back his probes...well the rest is history. + Show Spoiler + The above event was closely followed by a GG from my opponent.

this used to be the basis for offensive crawler rush.
to curb this, one of the beta patches severely reduced the off-creep movement speed of the queen.
you can use the glitch to 'proxy tumor' to get a head start on your tumor creeping, or maybe to proxy a T1 building; but you can't send your queen too far off-creep, or you will miss too many injections and fall behind on your macro. Also if your opponent spots your queen or suspects that you'll try to do this, just 1-2 units will kill your queen. Lastly, it costs minerals to do this, AND you have to save up 300 minerals for a hatch to cancel, which is crippling in the early game.
Not viable IMO.

I've been goofing around with a 12 Drone expand without the overlord using a double gas trick, anyone try this? It actually seems to cover the i'm going to die space as zerg pretty well but I really want to try testing it. This is probably a really old strategy thats been tried and proven wrong in BW but i'm looking for confirmation that this is a terrible idea.

Has anyone found an APM program yet?

Anyone having some connection issues right now?

Got DC'd from 4 of the 5 games I tried to play just now.
