#9 No state actor. As district judge I grant summary judgment in favor of the University. T. Dot Crazy has no cause of action because the equal protection clause does not apply to private institutions. The Equal Protection Clause applies to "state actors" or "state action," meaning literally the acts of the state or government. TeamLiquid University is a private institution and therefore there is no claim.
Even if there is state action (suppose TLU receives gov't funding), TLU can set aside seats for women, who are historically discriminated against, because diversity at the university is a legitimate, or even compelling, state interest. (Grutter v. Bollinger)

Clue #9
TeamLiquid policy does not violate the amendment due to presdences set by affirmative action.

Clue #9: According to Regents vs Bakke in 1978, a quota system based on race is unconstitutional. Also, according to Parents vs Seattle School District No.1, setting timetables or goals to achieve diversity is constitutional, but setting quotas is not. While some affirmative action policies are constitutional under the Equal Protection Clause, by setting a goal for creating a diverse environment, those that set quotas such as "1/3 of the students MUST be female" are not constitutional. Although the opposition to Tdot will say that gender-based quotas are different than race-based quotas, both of these precedents will ensure Tdot the victory in the case.

Do we submit 5 comics or just one? The description is kind of confusing.

#14:
so rcenter = \frac{\int r\sigma dA}{\int \sigma dA}
so rcenter = \frac{\int_0^{\pi}\int_0^r r\sigma rdrd\phi}{\int \sigma dA}
similarly phicenter = \frac{\int \phi\sigma dA}{\int \sigma dA}
so phicenter = \frac{\int_0^{\pi}\int_0^r \phi\sigma rdrd\phi}{\int \sigma dA

14. r= radius x-y coordinates (0,[(4R)/(3*pi)])

The COM would lie along the y axis, or in this case the line x=0 or pi/2
