It's so random that I kinda believe it might be true EUR or GBP? Either way that's shitload of money

Isn't Bayern's current record transfer fee about half of that?

Well Bild also reporting that Hummels might be on the way out in January to England. So maybe they are getting 20-30million for him to negate that fee a bit.

Yeah, they've got plenty of funds regardless of outgoing transfers probably. I'm more curious if they're finally participating in this transfer value craziness that has been going on for a few years now.

They have to pay big if they want to buy world class players, saving money makes no sense considering how much the market inflated in recent years and I guess they understood that.
Their board announced that they are going to spend money this summer/for the next season, so this isn't going to be the only transfer exceeding their previous record (which is somewhere between 40-45 million).
€ Rummenigge also confirmed Bayern's interest in Hernandez
All numbers in € :p

I think part of the inflation was caused by the Neymar buyout and following ripples when Barca went on a spending spree. I could easily see some teams shunning away from these 75+ million transfers we've seen now, hoping that the prices go down a bit in the longer run.
Both Real Madrid and Bayern are in a position where they probably have to spend sooner rather than later though.

Rough past week for my boys, but at least it wasn't Spurs that ended our unbeaten run

As Paul Merson has stated, the banker of the weekend is Yanited to beat Cardiff comfortably. The players will come out of the blocks run around like crazy and win comfortably. Will be like a new side. That isn't because Ollie is a god of a coach it is because the players did not want to play for Mourinho anymore, minus a couple (Matic, Fellaini, Lukaku have been mentioned).
This is just the world of football right now, if players fall out with the manager, they just down tools and stop performing to their highest level. This Yanited squad is not that of one that is mid table cannon fodder, it is a top 6 contender. They will show this against Cardiff later on today.

"I was a bit old-school. But I would call it not old-school, but good-school.
"Whatever has gone on at the club, when you go on the pitch - particularly at a big club like United - you go out and give your all, no excuses.
"This idea that these players are upset... it is not just United, but the modern player. They are not just weak players, but are very weak human beings. You cannot say a word to them.
"Players are quick to hide behind social media, their cars and their girlfriend's dog, the whole lot.
"I was very lucky with the dressing room I was in. There were good men, good leaders and characters, but that is in shortage in the game now.
"It would not have happened in our dressing room. We would not have tolerated lads not putting a shift in."

woww this manchester city crystal palace game is on fire
that 1-2 goal is wonderful :D

Wow City losing 1-3 to Palace who would have thought. With City leaking more goals recently and Liverpool maintaining their form could they actually win the title?
|
There's still half an hour to go on this one too though. City is well capable of scoring 3 in that time. It's really interesting to see how they respond to this though, both in this match and in the next games also.

What a banger that second goal was
