im ready to watch the movie called "Art of time wasting" by Italians. I don't think Juve has to worry about Dortmund players getting through their defense. But they are playing in Dortmund and Mazic is the referee so anything is possible. Yeah i think this is first time i seen a Serbian referee in the knockout stages. Is he any good? Card happy guy? Or what?

Though I must say they performed better than I expected over two legs.

They got really close to eliminating the reigning champion of the best league in the world and a team that was in the CL final last season. I'd say that's pretty damn good.
Those comments would be fair if they got trounced again with a scoreline of 8-2 over two legs or whatever, but they made it to penalties.

If Manchester City lose today against Barcelona, there will be only one english team in the EU tournaments - Everton. This will most likely mean that the Bundesliga will surpass EPL in the UEFA rankings. Italy is not that far behind and all italian teams are still competing

If Juve has watched any of Dorrtmunds last games they will play a defensive flat 4-4-2 and laugh at Dortmunds terrible attempts of breaking through. They way BVB´s players position themselfes against this system is so horrible. But I don´t think Juve played this system in the last months, so there is some hope left.

The best referee we have by a mile and can handle crowd pressure really well. We (and by we I mean Yugoslavia) had tip-top referee's back in the day but now... Well at least we got someone to break into the Scandanavian referee cartel

5 more hours until I get to the stadium. I don't want to work anymore. Give me that match already : D

but yeah, its kinda embarrassing how poorly the english teams are doing internationally in recent years, particularly when one considers that they are still among the very richest teams on the planet.

well, nobody would complain if atletico had just been good. but they were actually quite awful, so leverkusen could easily have made it.

The comments are actually perfectly fair given the situation. If Leverkusen was crushed 8-2, then you could just say that they weren't good enough. However, they were definitely good enough but couldn't handle the pressure. THREE terrible PK's, even when gifted a miss by AM on the first PK, just symbolizes how terrible this club is at handling pressure.
This club only has two notable trophies and yet 8 runners-up positions to their name.

I think penalties are an easy job for GK nowadays. So many missed penalites and so many penalites were GK jumped in right direction but still not able to hold the ball. In ATL vs LEV game, there was like 8 of 10 penalties where GK know which direction to jump.

Well yeah at the defining moment with the penalties, I agree. They should still be applauded for coming close imo. It's a huge improvement over the last few years.

Yeah I cant remember the last time I saw a CL game with a soft prod down the middle and two skiers from the same team.
