He was hoping the keeper would commit and tried to be ultra clever. But he never looked confident which is why the keeper felt like he had a chance if he didnt over commit and the kick ended up straight at him.

I always prefear a few mor steps and more distance to the ball if I want the keeper to react before me. Because if you are making like 10-12 steps and partially in slow motion the keeper gets more and mor anxious and feels like he waited to long.

But Leverkusen just blew it. The penalties were either very very good or very very poor.

The first and the third penalties for Leverkusen were just terrible. I don't recall seeing something like the 3rd one... The guy just walked to the ball and kicked it in the crowd. Even his teamates were mad after that. Oh well, Simeone lucked out again. Now I just hope that Real won't play against Atletico in the quarters...

Dunno I don't think it will be a typical Chelseastyle park the bus game. Juventus has been a pretty attacking side the past few years so maybe they'll play a bit more conservative than normal but I don't think they'll just throw their whole style overboard. Maybe they'll just play to win while trying not to concede instead of just killing the game. They'll definitely do when it goes past 70 minutes though haha.

Anyway, looking forward to Barça - Man City! Last game I had to miss a good bit of the second half but that first half was gorgeous.

I don't think Juve has to worry about Dortmund players getting through their defense. But they are playing in Dortmund and Mazic is the referee so anything is possible.
