At this rate there won't be ANY Point Guards left in the Western Conference. Someone put Damien Lillard and Tony Parker in protective custody! Quick!

Pierre Jackson was their pick from Baylor, who was dropped because he wanted to play in Europe, and then changed his mind afterwards. He's been killing the DLeague this year for the Stampede (I go to a lot of their games and have been working for the team) and he's clearly too much for it. The DL is actually pretty good basketball too, certainly better than college. He's basically like Nate Robinson, but possibly even quicker. 5'10", averaging 30/5 on 46% shooting, and heats up very quickly. The Stampede are actually the Blazers' team, but because they drafted him the Pelicans have exclusive rights to him in the NBA atm. I'll be pretty excited if they call him.

in my defense, I don't follow basketball and it was the top rated post on the funny subreddit today, so I'm sure I'm not the only one who hasn't seen it before...

On that note, who are your picks for most improved? I've got: Lance Stephenson Bradley Beal Spencer Hawes Eric Bledsoe Jordan Crawford Damian Lillard Gerald Green Andre Drummond Jeff Teague Crawford fell off, Drummond's still pretty raw, Jeff Teague was always good, Gerald Green has problems on defense and ball handling (basically there for dope dunks and 3 pointers), Damian Lillard was good last year and didn't really get better, dunno about Beal, Hawes. Agree with Bledsoe but I don't know if his leap was as big because he was known to be good on the Clippers, although he did surprise people in PHX. Will probably miss out on the award though cause of his injuries. I'd probably pick Stephenson out of the bunch, maybe Marco Bellinelli cause he's doing far better on the Spurs than expected. Maybe add in Dragic? dunno.

It's Isiah Thomas award to lose with Lance having a very good chance as well. Then again the award is really about minutes played so.. They're both in the same camp. Both have become incredible 3pt shooters (as have Matthews and even Hawes), and they're really just benefiting from more playing time and getting to play with starters more (or in Beal's case having Wall back to help him out.) Matthews has not only improved his 3, but his defense has gone from occasionally good to consistently good. I don't know why I forgot about the Suns. Markieff Morris has turned it on this year. Or what about Aaron Afflalo?

Or what about Aaron Afflalo? Morris is a good pick. Afflalo was always good though, now he just has a really large role. Although there is something to be said for taking on more responsibility and doing better with it (see JR, more responsibility and do turrible) Still think Bellinelli deserves at least a mention.
