At one point he LITERALLY was doing 45 pound ez bar curls while straddling two of the oly bars we were actively using and grunting super loud squatting 135. so i'm raging pretty hard and do 115 and let out a massive grunt to make him look like a bitch lol. suddently snatch session is going a lot better and i CRUSH 120 125 130 135(3kg PR) Jump to 140 and miss, then miss 138, thein finally PR at 138 for a 6kg pr on the day. Literally i've gotten drunk 9 of the last 10 days for welcome week.

Fucked my back up again today... it wouldn't loosen up when I was foam rolling/stretching. Tried to squat anyway, and it just got BAD. I can't really even walk well, had to sit out through practice. Have a chiro appointment for next wednesday, was the soonest it could be fit in with my class schedule. Hopefully it doesn't keep bothering me until then, but I think I'm going to have to stay away from squats for a while.

I think it's just a continuation of the SI joint problems that I was having. I got my hip back in place, but the muscles were all kinds of screwed up afterwards. I've always had one leg stronger than the other, and the SI joint issue just resulted in a lot of pulled/strained muscles in my low back. Couple that whole thing with a poor sleeping position for one night, four days and nights of heavy drinking, and hours and hours worth of scrums at rugby practice (fuck second row) and apparently I fall to pieces.
Posture is pretty good when standing, just a little bit of forward head position that I'm working on, but not good at all when sitting.
I always do dynamic stretches before my workout. I've also been doing a lot of foam rolling, and we do static stretches before and after our practices. I don't do a lot of weighted core exercises, just the occasional (1x/week or so) weighted decline situps. Other than that I mostly stick to planks and side planks. If you have any specific suggestions, I'd try just about anything, because if I don't squat 300 pounds by the end of this year, I will pretty much be the worst lifter in the history of strength training. And I'll be really disappointed in myself and stuff, since I should have hit 315 back in... march.

Aaaaand I just managed to do my very first pull up!!! It was just another set of 3 were I try to pull myself up to see how far I can go and I kept pulling and pulling till I saw the bar in front of me and I was like ''wtf''. I'm so happy, I'll keep getting stronger, you guys do the same pls, cheers!

Awesome congrats! The first pull-up is amazing. Now starts the long process of building up to 3x5 and then 3x8! Keep at it :D

Phyre, I've seen improvement doing glute bridges, weighted lunges, quadraped hip extensions, and stretching my hip flexors. Hasn't gone away completely but it's definitely better than it was.

Did Overheadpress 60kg x 2 x 5, then 70kg x 1 x 5 (felt like a fucking boss)
Did Front Squat up to 120kg 100kg x 3 x 3, 105kg x 3, 110kg x 3 70kg x 2 x 5 super fast. Felt like god.
Did chinups, 10-10-8 (my best numbers here haha).
Then did speed Deadlifts at 150kg. Yes, Speedy deadlifts, at 150kg. that shit gotta be a PR. I did yell TEAM LIQUID HEALTH AND FUCKING FITNESSSSSSS in the last rep just for fuck sakes.
