A guy I know made a video about him building his own home gym and working out in the woods. I thought it was pretty good and wanted to share If you don't want to watch him speak swedish and just the training part you can skip to 2:22 and later 6:46.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xrq1h7_skog-smuts-traning-norrland-hq_sport?start=5

It made me want to work out outside as well

My post- rugby practice workout just turned into three netball games against a women's team from Cambridge, followed by a social with the same girls, followed by a party thrown at my apartment, followed by a party thrown at a good friend of mine's who is a member of the latino fraternity here.

Long story short, hnnnnnnnggggghhhh, and I have no ass. More squats.

After I finished, he added another plate to each side and did six easy reps on 180kg. I asked him what he squats normally, turns out he squatted 235kg, DL'd 240kg and benched 140kg in the previous powerlifting meet. He's in the 73kg weight category, so the squat is like 3.5x BW. Insane shit.

Try to become his friend, so he can motivate you and help you with technique.

Agreed. Haha, that's awesome though to have someone at that level around.

FML. Spin hook kick, almost fucked my knee. Felt it trying to torque and went limp in time to just eat the mat instead of tearing anything up, but still a little sore. Ankle a bit too.

This is one of the times I don't mind Crohn's so much, the anti-inflammatory stuff and painkillers I take anyways help with minor shit.

Ive been doing boring but big and was wondering for the high rep light weight deadlift sets, should you do it touch and go speed set, or quick reset after every rep like I would do for a heavy set?

I completely forgot how different it is to squat without a belt. Didn't feel like using a belt yesterday, so squatted 100 kg x 5 instead of 135 x 5, and felt I got a lot more depth (I think the belt was preventing me from going all the way down) and a much better work out.

Gonna try to hit 135 without a belt now and see how that goes

Doesn't matter. And just because it is bouncing doesn't necessarily make it a speed set, just pull each rep with max force/speed and it doesn't matter where you start.

Finally decided to diet it up and cut some of this fat off me. Going for 2000 cals non gym day and 2500 gym day. Makes a change from the 3-4k a day I guzzle up normally. Also went for a random 3:10am gym workout last night, felt really groggy but just desperately wanted to do it haha.

I'm literally just trying to lose my gut. When I wear my football top it sticks out in the tight midriff area. Also, I weigh 89kg and look about 75kg for some reason, so there's definitely some fat that needs to melt off o.O

gl man! dieting sucks, and losing your gut is especially hard for men. i've been trying for months and still got a long way to go I was never lean though in my entire life, so I guess I have it harder than most people

Less than two weeks for Tough Mudder. Feeling pretty good about it! (except for the electroshock therapy obstacle :\ )

Scream TLHF while you charge through the obstacles. be sure to get it on video. If it works for deadlift pr's it will work for electric wires.

Apparently you don't even know you've been shocked until after you've faceplanted. I will persevere and conquer the obstacle in the name of TLHF, I'm just dreading the discomfort that will be caused. It's strange facing an invisible obstacle even though you understand how it works.

Also, looking into "barefoot" friendly dress shoes and I can't find anything under $100 or so... any one know of something I'm not finding? I hate these clunky things I'm wearing currently.
