That's just the nature of vs Zerg, creep control is incredibly important.

Some of the game he lost were against some smart yet ridicolous 3rax proxy, does it seem any better to you?

Not practice, as the best Terran and Protoss are in Korea and with this patch being harder for Zerg it would be a legit smart move to go there to train. I think the main thing is possibly happiness? The main difference between the ease of competing in gsl vs wcs has always been that you need to go live in Korea to compete in gsl, which is not necessarily the best life choice for a young man who doesn't speak the language. He's already the best in the world, so I think it could be argued that uprooting his way of life (which is working for him) for unofficial posterity might not be his best option.

That's a pretty fair point, not everyone could adapt to this lifestyle. However, ar as i know, he went to Korea already and didn't really mind the experience. He mentioned he would have liked to go there again to practice for a few months and possibly to play in GSL in 2019; he understandably excluded moving to Korea permanently.

He's of course the best now but we don't have to forget everything that's happened in the first half of the year due to recency bias.

Yes, but some terran players don't think it has be nerfed sufficiently (i.e removed from the game).

oh please ignore Dark's comment because he is too salty... lol about GSL, Serral would most likely understandably falter... GSL required more resilience.. it's a long-running tournament with great amount of preparation... If Serral could not live comfortably in Korea, he would lose his motivation at mid-way so winning GSL is not a necessity for Serral to be called the best player in the world right now (or even in LoTV so far)

Going back to the finals, i forgot to mention he went for Broodlords in game 7 and they looked way better than Ultralisks.
