Well as we just saw he has issues against Terrans and the top terrans were not there(TY, Maru), so technically we don't know. Both Maru and TY are a level above Innovation(or at least they were from what we know). Even Gumiho is better than Inno in my eyes(though not that much of difference). And since Maru was winning Code S ... I think INno got better than Gumiho during BlizzCon period HOWEVER, Gumiho would be good at the uThermal style so depending on how viable it really is Gumiho might be better vZ Even if, both Maru and TY were level above Innovation if we go from the old data. So "now Serral is the best because he has beaten 2nd grade Korean Terrans" doesn't really apply. Serral is a monster tho He adapted really well from shaky bo against Bunny and TaeJa. INno played really well but made some key mistakes when ahead (acid plant especially) Maru is a bit more decisive than INno and has better micro so it'd be really interesting to see a Serral vs Maru on this patch Serral adaptation and clutchness is still epic He was behind in a lot of bo5+ this year and still managed to win, against great competition Excited for 2019! Oh yeah, I'm not denying that, but pronouncing him the best player is kinda weird cosindering his biggest enemies were removed by a team kill and Rogue at Blizzcon. Well, cest la vie

That's Dark being bad at finals though, not being bad at ZvT.

Does Serral is the best, because he won 40 matches straight, 3 WCS, GSL vs the World, Blizzcon and the most stacked Homestory Cup in a long while, apply? Just ask yourself in all honesty: If Serral was Korean and Maru was a foreigner who bumped out before the finals in the two tournaments he had the chance to dethrone Serral, would you even have this discussion right now?

The fanboyism here does not dissapoint :D

I really hope Homestory Cup stays around for a while. 20 will be great, but I hope it goes further. By far the best tournament in the eSports-Scene, imo.

lol. tbf, I think in 2018 he was probably worse than Maru, TY and GuMiho but right now, I think he's the second best terran and is back in the top 10 players in general.

Reynor's not very good at creep spread even compared to the other European zergs other than Serral.

To be honest Innovation got outplayed really hard by Serral who didn't even have an advantage coming from the upper bracket
|
Dark absolutely has better ZvT than Serral but Serral's better at the other matchups and better overall
