Hehe, if you think it's bad mannered to approach the loser to shake his hand, how would you describe this:
;D
well that's savior, he deserved every one of those pelvic thrusts

What? why?
I don't think it's proper for the winner to approach the loser for a handshake. For some people, it can easily be seen as rubbing it in. It's like a preemptive gg in a sense.
Maybe that's the way you see it, but I completely disagree with that. It's just another manner way of saying "gg thanks for the competition". It has nothing to do with being bm to OFFER SOMEONE A HANDSHAKE.

At least over here in the states, when we're playing sports we act like men, and win or lose--we shake hands with our opponent..
I didn't say it was mannered, all I said that I think it was just as bad mannered by VortiX especially because you know Naniwa. If you want to show some respect, respect that he's not calm/happy after the loss. Cannot be that hard to understand is nothing but player bashing
You're being silly. Extending a handshake after games is good manners and sportsmanlike behaviour. Whether you win or lose you shake the hand of your opponent. It's BM of Naniwa not to shake hands, whoever starts going for the action.
You're the one player-bashing Vortix for the ridiculous reason of being sportsmanlike.

ROFL
yeah sportmanship is a douchy thing now!
naniwa is a douche so you're a douche if you don't expect him to be a douche!
the circle is complete, now bitter naniwa fanboys can go round and round and never encounter the real world.

and reported for what?
laughing at your totally laughable implication that him refusing to shake a hand was just as bad as going there to shake a hand after a game?
hahahaha you guys are priceless.
For ignorance, stupidity and aggressive tone. See MorroW's tweet. I don't know where you are from, but in EVERY sports, loser do approach / initiate the handshake. A winner doing it, is bad sportsmanship JUST AS MUCH as denying it. I bet you won't last very long with <250 posts already acting like the biggest douche ever.

It's still better if the loser is the one extended the handshake. If you do it as a winner it can be seen as an offensive GG if that makes any sense. I mean imagine you just lost and are really pissed and want to cool off for a moment and your opponent runs over to you with a big grin does that seem friendly ? For me it wouldn't seem like that.
this. also "we in the states act like men" - lost me after that to be honest.
most progamers in sweden belives the polite way is that the loser approaches to handshake the winner if he feels like it. never vise versa
From morrows twitter
Seemed like Vortix just wanted to gloat to naniwa perhaps.
Although I fully agree that the loser should be given space (and they can approach if they want) I still feel it's BM to refuse a handshake at any point unless your hands are full or dirty

Think of it as in playing ladder I guess, the loser is the one who ggs out, when the obvious winner does it it can smack of gloating (although I don't think that was the case in this instance)

Sorry, but being that upset after a loss is pretty unprofessional in my opinion. I'm not saying your wrong, it's probably just a cultural thing.

well they put up a good show with this and of course it was kind of an offensiv handshake but i still think u should just give it back
What did Kaelaris said to Vortix and BabyKnight during the comercials? I'm wondering if he said "please shake your opponent's hand if you lose this time"

It is just a handshake Naruto! There was no kiss incoming!!!! This Show is live with 38000 Viewers. So you have to be mannered to become serious!
Oh oh. The same aspects of Naniwa's personality that ensure that he is an absolute top player, one of the few who has been able to compete with the Koreans, is the same part of him that creates the sporadic unsportsmanlike behavior. Of course it is too much, but him striving to be the best he can be in the game, no matter the cost, I still love it.
