no one needs a buff, but they might wanna tweak early mid and lategame a tiny bit. Otherwise matchups will probably end up on 80% winrate before this time and 80% winrate after this time hehe.

It's all so quite. The party is over and the last guys in the thread are arguing about who is going to have to clean up.

He had a REALLY easy road to the finals. All foreigners to the R08 and then someone with incredibly shit ZvP. REALLY?? REALLY? you're one of those guys. Most moronic comment of the post. Check his groups and his run. Beating all those opponents and driving Leenock to the final game. Solid play throughout. Out playing Leenock in both the games he won. REALLY EASY. Fuck off. You have no idea about starcraft, Dude calm down. I know he beat Yugioh and MC so obviously he had to play well to get to this point. You can't deny though he can a far easier run then Leenock for example. Saying that he is clearly the best foreigner right now is just dumb. Lucifron got coin flipped out. Stephano had to play his worst matchup vs a top Korean. Vortix and Scarlett weren't even here. There is no reason to say Naniwa is undisputedly the best foreigner.
Lucifron got coin-flipped out, because he could´nt break the tie. I like him and Vortix, but in HotS they had a really bad start at IEM and are just slowely getting better results in ATC. Stephano just does´nt look as sharp anymore, as he did in his best days. He got 0-3´ed at MLG, lost to Feast and nearly ThorZaiN here. Scarlett is going inactive for a while and also has never reached top4 in any premier event. Kas has huge potential (2-0ing HerO in group stage for example), but his nerves are a big problem. I would not classify Naniwas Status as definite (like Stephanos was during 2012), but atm. he looks the best of all foreigners.

THis! You always think it can't get better.. but then the next one is! Not really. Lack of Bo5s was quite disappointing... They had enough downtime too, imo. Still it was quite good especially with Naniwa doing so well. Well might be because my memory is quite bad, can't rememmber that much about last dreamhack well bo5 should have started in the semis atleast i guess, your right. for watching at home i personally don't mind a little downtime though, so i can do some other things and come back when the games start. + the DJ was amazing during downtime :D For their regular events they do Bo3 until finals which are Bo5. Last season's Winter finale was Bo5 from Ro12 to Ro4 with Bo7 finals. Well if they expand to bo5 quarter/semis and bo7 finals for their regular events they would need an additional day probably, guess thats why they keep it shorter There was quite a bit of idle time between games today, and with NASL they could have had another stream for longer (maybe up until the semis). Who knows what their reasons for the Bo3 decisions are, but "time" and "game coverage" don't seem very convincing.
Some Bo3's were awfully short. What if they went the full 3 games taking 40min a pop. Idle time is better than delay's for the organisers.

Nerf spinewalls #2013 " Champagne bottles #2013
All in all, Leenock played really well. But those damn spine walls, I will be ranting and fuming for days over it. Nevermind the fact that Leenock lost 40lings and by the time Nani walked up the ramp and to the other side of the spine wall there was another 40

why did naniwa opt for the 2 base and tried to finish instead of expand?

No what we saw is that the game is actually astonishingly balanced, far more balanced than anyone would expect considering there have been no patches since beta. In the finals especially balance did not even enter my mind for a second, everything seemed to come down to who played a better game of Starcraft.

Dreamhack is still the best tournament organiser out there (Hi Blizzard) Leenock is prob the best Zerg on the planet at this moment Nani could probably still cut it in the later rounds in Code S. Yes Leenock didn't even make it out of the R032 in the current GSL Nani could be in Code S, but not in the later rounds. As I said, Leenock got bounced in the first round. Leenock did not get "bounced" he just sucked with his build order choices, everyone's entitled to a shit day. ...so it begins. Leenock could definitely have fared well in later rounds of code s. He was knocked out because of a zvz against the best player right now. If he would've easily made it out if he were in any other group. I mean, sure, you can say whatever you want, but there is nothing that says it would have actually happened. I could just as easily say he would have gotten beaten in some of the other groups and we really have no proof either way. Bottom line is that if you are going to make a statement to say someone is the best in the world at anything, you need some kind of facts to back it up. There are enough facts to say he is an elite Zerg player, but not enough at this moment to say he is the absolute best. Lets also look at the type of tournaments that we are analyzing. Naniwa always does very good in this weekend tournaments. He is the anti Idra. He knows how to play different styles when it calls for it and can really throw his opponents off their game. He is still probably around Code S level, but its hard to say how well he would do in the longer tournaments against elite KR players. Fair enough. I'm not claiming he's the best zerg right now. I was just saying that getting knocked out from ro32 this GSL season isn't really reflective of his skill level right now.

It shouldn't be too difficult to get a decent crowd in the UK.
There's decent British casters and the South is one of the densely populated areas in the western world.

Has there been a tournament since the release of HotS where the Z didn't win? Lmao

He had already stopped making probes way earlier than the attack actually comes. There was creep on his 3rd so he couldn't take it either. And even if he cleans the creep Leenock will see it and just kill him since he can't defend.
