So when's the next major tournament?

Might wanna be careful with posts like that or Blizzard will actually believe this ;o

I feel surprisingly pleased after watching this tournament even though it was dominated by Zergs and koreans. I think it's going to take some time before the ordinary whining we are used to see in WoL comes back .

yeah only 9k, yeah only dude wow, so low :/
its because this is just a small / qualification event for the dreamhack winter grandfinals, very much like the old MLG system where 1st place "only" got 5k$ and then 50k$ where played out at t he final event of the season.

They should just give out two free beers for everybody. All the chavs will come and bring the first esport riot.
I'll get my coat

I think it was because technically this was a smaller DH event, DH summer and DH winter are the ones with a bigger pricepool.
Yep, this DH is technically a qualifier. I'd say 9k, WCS points + a seed for DHW is a great first prize.

Dreamhack is still the best tournament organiser out there (Hi Blizzard) Leenock is prob the best Zerg on the planet at this moment Nani could probably still cut it in the later rounds in Code S. Yes Leenock didn't even make it out of the R032 in the current GSL Nani could be in Code S, but not in the later rounds. As I said, Leenock got bounced in the first round. Leenock did not get "bounced" he just sucked with his build order choices, everyone's entitled to a shit day. So good that a shit day consists of beating Life in the process. Okay, but how does winning this tournament prove he's better than Life? Or any of the other top Korean zergs who weren't in attendance?
Who's saying he's better? o-O
Leenock and Life have proven themselves time and time again as being top level zerg artists. Have you seen Leenock's playbook (he actually keeps a diary)? Leenock is a top level Zerg man wth man. Are you trying to say he isn't? Frig these guys even go back and forth when they play one another.

GSL is still ongoing and so is WCS. In theory, it doesn't get more major than that.

When is the next big LAN? MLG Anaheim?

I think foreigners exceeded expectations in this tournament, since half of the koerans got knoced out from group stage to bracket play

Casted from replay?

Up next: People saying zerg is imba/the game is balanced since zergs still win and zergs getting upset about it.

gg's despite all the negative comments, leenock well deserving and all great players in top 4. im sure naniwa shut up a lot of people which is awesome. great dreamhack with a lot more outcome compared to the last ones, looking forward to the next one and the one after that etc.

I'd put it anywhere but the South, when WCS UK started people were moaning about alcohol being £5 for a small bottle.
And our government has gaming tax so they'll be wanting a slice of any event which is a huge put-off.
