THis! You always think it can't get better.. but then the next one is!

Not really. Lack of Bo5s was quite disappointing... They had enough downtime too, imo. Still it was quite good especially with Naniwa doing so well.

Well might be because my memory is quite bad, can't rememmber that much about last dreamhack well bo5 should have started in the semis atleast i guess, your right. for watching at home i personally don't mind a little downtime though, so i can do some other things and come back when the games start. + the DJ was amazing during downtime :D

For their regular events they do Bo3 until finals which are Bo5.

Last season's Winter finale was Bo5 from Ro12 to Ro4 with Bo7 finals.

Well if they expand to bo5 quarter/semis and bo7 finals for their regular events they would need an additional day probably, guess thats why they keep it shorter

lol?

he is right, nothing to lol here

Really? He had a REALLY easy road to the finals.

All foreigners to the R08 and then someone with incredibly shit ZvP.

Naniwa beat MC and YugiHo during group stage, then TLO, Sort Of, Jaedong and then went toes to toes with Leenock ....

Who can top that as a foreigner ?

Stephano ? ...

As much as I love the kid he lost RO16 against coca after having the easiest group ever.

Lucifron ? RO64 .....

Any other Terran ? LOL

Sase maybe ? Ro16 WCS and an ok run, loosing to Hyun is no shame but that doesn't match what naniwa did

We will see after WCS europ, but frankly I don't see who can dispute him the throne right now and even if he is not #1 there is nothing tot lol about.

Still bitter about Lucifron losing out because of a stupid coin-flip. Dude deserved to make the next stage.

Technically he deserved what he got. He knew the rules going in. Winning one more map would be "deserving".

Uh huh. I think you're just one of those guys who likes to argue for the sake of arguing after reading several of your posts.

Great tournament but if you do a single elimination playoff, you have to do BO5.

Excellent post, great addition to the discussion. He had multiple chance to win in tie breakers did he? No. Rules are rules.

Would at least make the tournament 50% longer, no way of fitting the current format in 2 days.

If they want to finish the tournament the same way they did it this weekend, there is no time to do bo5.

REALLY?? REALLY? you're one of those guys.

Most moronic comment of the post. Check his groups and his run. Beating all those opponents and driving Leenock to the final game. Solid play throughout. Out playing Leenock in both the games he won. REALLY EASY. Fuck off. You have no idea about starcraft,

Dude calm down. I know he beat Yugioh and MC so obviously he had to play well to get to this point. You can't deny though he can a far easier run then Leenock for example. Saying that he is clearly the best foreigner right now is just dumb. Lucifron got coin flipped out. Stephano had to play his worst matchup vs a top Korean. Vortix and Scarlett weren't even here. There is no reason to say Naniwa is undisputedly the best foreigner.

Please don't call Coca a "top korean"
Lucifron was tie after two tie breakers with Strelok (not really the best Terran in the World) and Yugiho whom Naniwa beats 2-0
