Yeah, I know who he is but idk how in the fuck he took a game off aLive, afaik it's his best MU vs aLive's worse but still, the skill gap is immense. I think Heavens is underrated but that's unexpected.

There is always something going on, be it a major tournament or a showmatch between a couple relative no-name semipros. Maybe it's just becoming a bit stale for some people, to the casual viewer there really isn't too much new going on. A lot of the matchups look the same no matter who is playing. HotS seems like it has a lot more potential for interesting engagements and harassment which will catch people's attention for sure. For one thing the idea that SC2 and LoL are competing is a little bizarre. The only reason they compete at all is because sometimes they have events sharing the same timeslot, but the amount of overlap is questionable. Different genre, different skillset, completely different viewing experience as well. It's a lot easier to follow than SC2 is and a lot slower paced. I play a little bit of LoL (and Dota 2) and so do a lot of my SC2 friends, but only one of us actually watches events for it. I don't really understand watching it, it takes forever and it's not really very exciting, but playing it is a mostly fun experience. The amount of people that play LoL is pretty staggering though, because it's a free game, it doesn't have very demanding requirements, and you can jump right into it (in theory) and so it's very accessible. StarCraft is pretty hard to get into. As for why it's louder, aside from the amount of people, it also has a fairly younger audience as well while the StarCraft fans tend to be older and thus quieter. Which is why we have BarCraft and not LoLCraft.

I watch Diablo 3 streams to see who will clear HC first, occasionally HoN streams, because the game really has become stale IMO. I've seen too much of Wings of Liberty. But if I was able to go to Anaheim I would be there for sure going crazy. I find HoN infinitely more fun to watch than LoL personally, too bad that never took off. LoL's business model was too good. I just hope sc2 doesn't lose too many viewers or we may lose some tournaments like ipl/nasl/esl before hots comes out. I think over saturation of content was a big part in burning people out on spectating.

Then the big team fights are like you said chaos and it gets pretty intense with good casters. Haven't watched much today though been stuck on sc2 all day with a lil bit of the KoFLoL has large quantities of boredom and creep farming with brief moments of chaos (5v5 team fighting)

Mouz vs. VP was the highlight of my eSports viewing experience this week, better than the SC 2 I've been watching.

With WCS running it basically ensures that all of the best players in the US are present. Add in the Koreans and a few Europeans and this is really a very strong player pool.

I prefer Dota 2 myself, I only watch stephano when he plays, other then that i don't watch. Na'Vi dota is to blame for that lol. How are the HC diablo 3 guys going? im a monk in inferno, I can't imagine not dying lol. If you could PM me that would be dope, I'm heading out and the thread is going to turn into thousands of posts to get lost in llol.

If he doesnt fix that, he ll never win any tournament anytime soon.
