There are options you can try out. Gas first mine drops into early tank push with liberators. Proxy your first barracks and playout a normal macro game off a reaper fast expand. Drop 4 hellions for a BBQ. These are already bad if the protoss scouts since all he needs to defend is an MSC and a pylon. And if the changes on the test map go through, those are going to get even worse.

If I see FE, I follow up with 2 cyclones and an early third, and if I see a delayed nexus (1:40 or later), I open with a widow mine first and expect an oracle in the main and an adept poke at the natural. Holding that with two marines is not possible and factory was just finished so by the time hellion finishes game is over. So how exactly do I defend 2rax reapers? Starting to build another rax and hellion is no good since reapers are already at the base. You need to open gaz first-rax-facto to get your 1st hellion in time.

But I just achieved my dia promotion so my experience will most likely change when I start to hit more evenly matched protoss players. u also did, now im short from coming master and its a hell vs protoss. Adepts are a hell of a unit and you cannot punish the protoss for it. It feels so stressful and frustrating getting a big advantage in the earlygame and just being countered by pylons. It will be much better with the 50 energychange so that they do not have non stop PO.

Build som tanks and liberators against his army composition and you are in a great spot.

I've tried facing roach ravager with just bio and medivacs but it doesn't work. You need tanks or liberator support. Widow mines do not work vs roach ravager because they have too much hp. I haven't tried bio hellbat but I don't think that'd work very well, zerg would just need to add hydras and they just out DPS you in a straight up fight I just hate the feeling of being locked in my base with siege tanks else a bunch of roach ravager just gonna amove me and win if I move out on the map, or counter attack me

They're not great if the zerg goes ling/bling/muta and you should probaby not make any more than 1 or 2 then. But as it happens, today, most zergs use roach ravager. I go hellion banshee in TvZ. The hellions are an okay defense against lings and can also work as a distraction for your banshees. Banshees will be your watchdogs and can serve different purposes. There's always something to do with them while you macro behind: - Kill drones - Kill queens (works really well when you get several banshees and surprise the zerg- I recommend 3 or maybe 4 max). Killing queens means less AA, and very good if the zerg doesn't want to make hydras. - Attack army (target ravagers) VERY IMPORTANT if zerg decides to attack you because he has had enough of your banshee harass - Kill creep If you see hydras, abandon banshee aggression. You have derailed zerg from teching up and have bought yourself time. Play it from there. Bio/tank/liberator comp is good. Kill expansions and take good trades. If you want to slow down a zerg going roach ravager, then banshees are a great choice. There are usually always some holes to poke into the zerg with them. Just avoid corrosive biles and target ravagers (ravagers are really mushy and die really fast). Just keep the banshees alive, fly them around, let them help you! Keep in mind I'm just a diamond scrub teetering on the edge of masters league...

Are there any high level Korean Terran Replays? I found a TvP from Byun against Puck from 14.12 on Spawning Tool. Most Replays are just too old to be useful, where do I find GSL replays, have the leagues started yet? :>

SSL did qualifiers last week. I don't think either league gives out replays before the season ends.

Reality did an amazing All in vs Zest on Prion Terraces for exemple. I recall also TY doing really good builds vs herO, and forte(salvation) showing some really cool builds vs Zerg. In TvT just look at forGG stream... he is such a beast, he is doing a mech builds against terran which is just disgusting ;p (open cyclone raven to be safe, then a strong 2base push mech (2x drop hellbatmedivac hellbats,, tanks, vikings, raven)

1. It seems to me that TvT is currently being dominated by reaper openings, mosty the 2 Rax Reaper Expand. Do you think its worth it opening Gas first Cyclone by default to counter it? it has been working great for me against reaper openings but is it setting me behind substantially against greedier openings or classic 1-1-1 builds? 2. on some maps (dusk towers and Ulrena to some extend) there is relatively little space for reapers to jump into your main, does that make Rax CC Rax Gas a viable opening? 3. is building some vikings to deal with liberators banshees and drops stronger then just going for your own harrasment tools? whats the difference to HotS here? Thx!

I am posting a replay below, was trying to do a 3 CC cyclone build, scouted that he was going to do the build and panicked. Any help or considerations regarding my play will be appreciated =) http://ggtracker.com/matches/6339860 You need to kill the prism with your cyclone, if you let the protoss warp-in adepts, you re dead.
